Aye, I remember when I was a wee lad, loved watching He-Man, I got from my parents a small wooden sword. Then I used it to ambush people on the street.
They always looked in shock everytime I charged them, yelling: I. HAVE.THE.POOOWER!

If you're open to requests, I'd like you to have a Star Wars modder implement a patch for this mod so I can give my children a force holocron.

I've been dying to see what will happen if my Jedi youngling in training uses force push on one of the many dangerous creatures attacking my Hearthfire home.

Probably not. Child bodies, well, before RS Children came out back in the day it was a pretty grim business.

I can give the RS children in my game any outfit in my inventory. I haven't tried to use this system yet though. I use Simple Outfit System.

Giving my kids gifts without this mod works fine, but giving them a gift with it enabled causes them to always say the "Aww don't tease me" line even though the gift appears in their inventory.  Any ideas?

I noticed the same thing and found wdavid78's comment on the original mod page that explains it
Two things happen when you go to give a child a gift. There's a master gift list that determines if the item you're giving them is eligible (if it isn't, it doesn't show up in the gift window. Only eligible items do) and this mod extends that list.

The second thing is that the item is compared to other lists to determine its "value", and then the child's enthusiasm over the gift is based on that valuation. Since a lot of these expanded items are not on any of the valuation sublists, the routine thinks the value is 0, and the default response for a value of 0 is "Aww, stop teasing me".

Adding items to the master gift lists is a relatively straightforward process. To then go and break down all the added items by what value category they should be in... would be a tedious nightmare.

The tip from the original mod was to give them something good along with the modded gift, like an apple

If you give them a shield for example, will they wear it?

Thanks for this port! Just as a heads up, this plugin can be flagged as an ESPFE (ESL-flagged .esp) without needing to compact any IDs.  Save yourself a plugin slot!

Thank you for this! I love the greater variety of gifts and especially that boys can now have dolls too. My dad had a doll and he grew up to be an awesome dad.

I love the imaginary scene of handing the child dragon bones and scales. "Look, here are parts of the dragon I killed last night! They're yours now!"

    Thank you for the port!
