Unfortunately, I don't even have LE to be able to port this. However, anyone who wants to port my mod to LE has permission to do so. I only ask for a link back to this page in the mod description.

Really like this staff buff adds a lot to revived mobs 10/10, I think my only issue is with mage revives the extra dmg doesn't feel as potent but not sure if that's because of the gameplay/game in general rather than this mod

Hmm... I'll take a closer look at this. The staff is set to increase destruction spell damage by 50%, but I'll make sure it's actually doing that. Thanks for telling me!

Going to be adding this mod to my load order - need have this switch up the staff's affects!

Just want to ask, will the staff's magic, affect all summons/non-summons all at once or individually? If individually, would there be a possible way to make all at once using SSEEdit? My soon to be necro lich will have himself at least more than 10 undead (especially using colorful magic) with him at times xD

I'm glad you're enjoying the mod! I actually ended up updating the mod to have the staff's main effect be AOE instead of targeted. Simply aim the staff at the ground and it will buff all of your minions in the blast's vicinity. Enjoy!

Could we see an optional file that makes it buff the skeletons in ordinator?

Sorry for the late reply! I've uploaded a version that works on Ordinator's skeletons. Enjoy!

I believe that’s from the Classical Lichdom mod.

To bad this doesn't make the staff raise the dead with the increased damage. It would make using this staff vs the spell make a lot more sense. In general this would make staffs more desirable in the game. Most staffs can be replaced by a magic spell, so ideally the game would be set up so that a spell cast by a staff is more powerful and/or does more than a simple spell could ever do. Staffs would be amplifiers as opposed to redundant at worse and aesthetics at best.

I’m not sure how I’d even implement something like that, unfortunately. I would have to make a spell that simultaneously raises the dead and increases their damage; this would be complex because, I think, it would require scripting, which is far beyond the scope of my modding abilities.

Definitely a far more useful feature for a staff.   Need more things that buff summons.
So far the only things I've found seem to be a modded spell Power of the Master to apply my own buffs to them,   and a Summermist Fortify Minions.   Otherwise spells like Rally don't seem to be effecting them even though it applies a visual effect to them (With perks),  and the three "Entropic" buff spells are garbage with tiny ranges for miniscule effect and concentration.    Far more effective to use Corrosion spells on targets instead as a way to indirectly buff minion damage.    But at that point you may as well have just Fireballed them yourself and oneshot them anyway...  But this is style over efficiency.

Found this while searching for things that might contribute to buffs.
Wish there were more minion buffing spells and enchantments.
(And I can't believe there are no bone-centered spells in general,  things like bone walls or skull spells and such).

I agree! I'm so glad you're enjoying the mod! And the closest mod that uses a "bone" spell that I've found is this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78968/
Not exactly a full pack, but it allows you to shoot a skull at someone lol

Looks like it gets close and has the right idea.  Checking the video, the audio is pretty terrible though, while the skull is pretty oversized and low-res.    Could use some variations with a normal white skull with or without a mist effect,  and a charred skull with a fire effect.   Likewise two mods I'm using, I can't place which is which,  but they provide a Bound Wall and a Barricade spell that create walls,  so if only there was a retexture somewhere that made them boney that could similarly be incredible for a necro build.
If I've always thought if I ever learned to mod it'd be one of the first things I attempt,  making a suit of bone spells.   But given it's been a decade I'll probably never end up doing so.

Any chance, as I'm utterly inexperienced in any sort of editing or creation of mods,  for another version of the staff that does more to improve a Necromancer playstyle?    I don't know how many effects might be attached to a staff (Or onto a custom spell effect),   but it'd be nice if the staff would also heal and provide damage resistance.    Being an AoE burst rather than an on hit would also help greatly (I have some multi-summons I like to use.  Which by the way combine really nicely with the mod that makes undead summons rise out of the ground first,  as it provides a pause you can use to lay on a buff or two).

Currently I have all the "Area Fortify Minions" enchantments I can stack on myself (like 4-6 or something.  And does have a rather obnoxious oversized purple aura on the effected minions.. ) and my undead usually struggle to keep up with the enemies which doesn't feel good when by default you also have to deal with the AI being braindead, so I don't get why most mods that do anything minions related hold back too much.  Like those Entropic spells mentioned before.  As if there's any risk of conjuration being overpowered when you could spam a dozen fireballs in the time it takes your skeleton archer to finally get a shot off or your skeleton warrior to path to the enemy and decide to attack.

Hmm... yeah, I could probably look in to doing something like that. I'd have to see how to reimplement the effect as an AoE style and what effects I could use to buff them further.

Love mods that FLESH out necromancy... (Flesh out...see what I did there? Lol)
I'll definitely give this a spin soon since I'm rebuilding my load order after being afk for a bit. I agree with your reasoning for the mod since I too felt the same way, and having something that can be used to buff undead ranks is definitely a cool way to show your mastery over undeath itself. Thanks for adding this into the community.
