About this mod

This mod gives bandits, guards, and soldiers a chance to have a Bond of Matrimony on their person. A grim reminder that this person had a family as you are rooting around their belongings after they die.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Times are tough in Skyrim between the civil war, bandits outnumbering civilians, and dragons having returned... To add to these dark themes, I have created a simple SPID ini (no esp plugin) which distributes the Bond of Matrimony (Skyrim's wedding ring) to guards, soldiers, and bandits, so you can be reminded that these people are more than just expendable guards who died protecting the city, your enemy on the battlefield, or a simple bandit, looking to rob you. These people had a family once, and now you can face that harsh reality whilst you root through their worldly belongings.

The way this mod works is by adding different probabilities to distribute rings to these factions. Bandits have a 5% chance of getting a ring, guards have a 50% chance (insert arrow in the knee joke here), and soldiers have a 25% chance.

FAQ:
-Can I edit these values?
Sure. Just go into the ini file included in the mod and change the last number of each line to match your preferences. It is a percent chance, so if you want a 100% chance, you'd set that number to 100. To identify which faction is which in the ini, bandits are line 1, guards are line 2, and soldiers are line 3.

-What is up with the name of the ini file?
The original name of this mod as I was making it was "Bandits and Soldiers Have Families Too," so it is sorta a shorthand of that. I settled on a catchier, more alliterative name, though. :)

-Did you add rings to any of the married NPCs that are not guards, soldiers, and bandits?
No, I recommend you use this mod for that.

-Any requirements?
SPID

-Is this esl-flagged?
There is no plugin at all. Just the ini. If you have SPID, this mod will work.

-Is this compatible with mods that change the Bond of Matrimony?
Assuming the mod in question didn't change the Bond into an entirely new object, it should be. This mod doesn't alter any records.

-Why does the filesize in the "Files" tab of the mod page say "0KB"? Did you forget to include your mod in the upload?
Nope, don't worry. The filesize is less than 1KB because it's just an ini file with 3 lines in it. If you preview the file contents, it will show that the entire mod is 162 bytes, which is hilariously tiny.
