I do not have the capacity to support this mod beyond it's current iteration.  I have not experienced CTD or some other reported issues.

If you are using Ordinator I highly recommend using the chocolate poise version here.  Chocolate Poise - Elden Parry - Ordinator - ParryingRPG Tweaks and Integration ... otherwise you may have more luck and better results using Maxsu's Poise.

For those having issues with stagger locking.  I would recommend Stoppage of Staggerlock this will apply for all NPCs

I also have a patch that will apply this perk to the player here.  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/73836 The perk should prevent looping stagger / stagger lock for 5 seconds from when the stagger animation is triggered.  If you don't think this duration is long enough, I can increase it.

The stagger animation is roughly how many seconds? 1-2???

Hey Kulharin. I wanted to ask for an advice. There is this synthesis Water Does Damage patcher. How would Stoppage of Staggerlock work with that? I'm curious cause you know, if you stand in water it probably does damage to you continously right?

Stoppage of stagger lock simply sets a stagger immunity timer.  preventing the effect from re-applying until the cooldown expires, regardless of your Poise status.

Hey Kulharin, would this also apply to other stagger mods, such as poise?

It wont, Chocolate Poise essentially re-tools the existing vanilla stagger system, where as poise entirely replaces it.

I was not ready to say goodbye to this mod but the fact was that for reasons unbeknownst to me there was a recurring issue between this mod and.. God knows what other(s) that caused Followers/NPCs to get stuck after combat ends if they ever get staggered while fighting. After hours of putting Anska through the same three draugrs in High Gate Ruins, whenever she got hit and staggered during the fight she would remain stuck and unresponsive until I used the 'moveto player' console command on her, and the most egregious problem was that this bug would get baked into the savefile, and once it did it continued to affect her even if she didn't get staggered during future encounters. You can imagine how much of a headache it would be to deal with that during every quest that requires an NPC to tail you throughout its entire duration, and even though I know this mod isn't the culprit disabling it stopped the bug from happening. And that's when Chocolate Poise Plus - Addons and Rebalancing comes in. I installed the most barebones version and I don't know which of it's many changes fixed it, but apparently it just did. So if you ever find yourself in the same pinch, give it a shot.

Is there anyway to make it so when hitting an archer who is drawing a bow they would get staggered instead of shooting at you point blank? Sadly other mods that provide this feature do not work with Poise.

Hm, what mods provide this feature?  It could be a matter of increasing the stagger multiplier value of this "attack of opportunity"  I don't see this as a setting in chocolate poise currently.

I was testing it with Wildcat and Attacks Interrupt Bows (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/92698). I think Requiem also has this feature, but haven't tested that.

And these don’t work with chocolate poise currently?  Might work increasing the stagger magnitude depending on how the effect is set up.

EDIT:  try increasing the magnitude of this effect.

Poise mods generally convert magnitude into poise damage

"POISE - Stagger Overhaul SKSE" by loki has a feature in it called "hyper armour" which is just a multiplier to poise damage when the target is castling a spell or performing an attack. I think the idea was to set this to 0.5 or something to reduce incoming stagger damage by half if you were hit while attacking -- but you can just set it to a high value like 20 to increase stagger damage by twenty times when a target is hit while they are attacking.

That way it's possible to punish archers. It's kind of frustrating that an archer can shoot you with impunity when you are inside of them with a melee weapon. These poise mods have the opportunity to fix this but they don't seem to try :(

I'm going to try that hyper armour setting, it's the one big shortcoming of all poise mods that mages and archers are not interrupted by anything

Is there a way to consistently make it so poise health is about 1/3/ - 1/4 of npcs max health, makin it so you stagger them about 2-3 times per fight?

Is there a way to make werewolf attacks deal more poise damage without editing the Hand-to-Hand value? Werewolf attacks currently deal too little poise damage, but increasing the Hand-to-Hand value causes unarmed attacks to deal too much poise damage instead.

Does Stoppage of Staggerlock from this page apply to both Player and NPCs?

Existe alguma configuração para que o bloqueio volte a cancelar os gritos dos dragões?
Coronhadas com o escudo "escudada Poderosa" ou armas comuns, não estão interrompendo mais os gritos.
