You might still have EldenParry.dll in data folder. Try to search your game data folder and mod folder. You can use Everything app in PC to search instantly.
For everyone having the same message in main menu just uninstall Elden Parry from your mod organizer (or data folder if manually) And reinstall dtry plugin updates since there's a path for it in the fomod
Hello, im getting a weird problem. I downloaded the version 1.6.+, and when launching the game, I get a dll error issue with the plugin. it says "disabled, only compatible with versions earlier than 1.6.629. My version is 1.6.1170. I tried also the other file for 1.5.97 and i can launch the game, but no parry is executed, its still the light bash. It might be something silly but i dont get it. I have precision installed and the patch for elden parry.
believe it or not, 1170 is a higher number than 629. So if it's only compatable with versions earlier than 629, then what does that tell you about 1170?
anyway, here you go man: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85740
SKSE Plugin Loader (2.2.6) A DLL plugin has failed to load correctly. If a new version of Skyrim was just released, the plugin needs to be updated. Please check the mod's webpage for updates. EldenParry.dll: disabled, only compatiblewith versions earlier than 1.6.629 Continuing to load may result in lost savedata or other undesired behavior. Exit game? (yes highly suggested)
I've gone through several solutions 1170 users will need to wait because the dtry plugin updates don't work properly and even the dtry plugin updates with NG version from the comments posts Tried both elden counter and parry with both SE and AE version with both Dtry plugin updates and dtry plugin updates NG
Were you able to start it? I installed both, elden parry and dtry plugin updates. I can join the game normally but this mod just doesnt seem to work for me at all. When I am fighting and I parry, I just get that default parry and not, what it is supposed to be.
if you have dtry plugins patch, open the folder it puts all the DLL patches in, delete the elden parry files, and then reinstall dtry plugins patch and enable the elden parry patch. you have to do the same thing with elden counter too, especially if you updated them instead of fresh install.
In the EldenParry.ini setting NPCs should be able to do so. But from anecdotal experience, I rarely, if not never at all, get parried. I'm also using RPG Parry though, so I can't tell if the rare time parry happens, whether it comes from Elden Parry or RPG Parry. They do different things so they're compatible - no worries.
would that disable their chance to power bash as well though? Does Vanguard - Bash Behaviours Updated help or hinder NPCs when paired with elden parry?
Does bEnableNPCParry = false just restore their default light bash attack?

At the moment I have to use Disable Bashing for NPCs so NPCs don't bash a thin air.
I've been thinking if Sekiro Combat S is a better balance. It's flashier indeed. There's also Deflection and Strike Obstruction System.
Does bEnableNPCParry = false just restore their default light bash attack?
