Hey guys! Thanks for checking out the mod, make sure to post a question about any mods that may or may not be compatible/incompatible with Teleport - City Spells.
I check each mod site every day and almost every hour (though I do need sleep sometimes )
Make sure to read the description if you have a question and if there is no adequate answer there leave a comment here and I will check it, and more than likely add an answer to the main page.

This ^. Given the number of "city mods", it's not at all easy to find where the tome end up getting dropped. Buying them from Alteration trainers would completely solve this problem with random world drop locations. Secondarily, the default game does not even have carriage from Winterhold, so I have to walk every time I want to leave.
JK's Skyrim seems to have moved the one in Windhelm so far, havent gotten too much further than that yet but I'd imagine a few other cities will have moved too.
Book is still in the same place - Left of the Enchanter, just left of the pillar. But it's behind the upper crate in such a way you probably can't reach it without using TCL toggle.
A detail that seems to be missing from all three of these mod pages is travel time. A major difference between these teleport spells and fast travel is that fast travel takes hours of in game time (i.e. about 14 1/2 hours from Windhelm Stables to Solitude). In reality, "fast travel" is a bit of a misnomer: It isn't covering vast distances quickly as the name suggests, but rather fast-forwarding through time. In contrast, these teleport spells are essentially instantaneous (about 2 minutes of game time).
So from an immersion standpoint, fast travel is like fast forwarding through the commercials on a recorded TV show. The travel down the roads is there and still takes game time, you just choose not to play through it. There is time for lots of events to take place while the player is fast traveling, but the player is essentially missing out on them. In contrast, you aren't fast forwarding through time when you use these teleport spells. You can teleport from Breezehome to Solitude at 4 pm to pick up some spiced wine from Evette San, and still be home for dinner with your lovely wife and potato head kids with time to spare.
Like some players, I prefer to ride horses or walk with my followers the vast majority of the time. It makes the world seem larger, for one, and makes me stop and plan a route to cover multiple tasks/quests across a broad geographic area. OK, call it more immersive. But sometimes there are tasks I'd like to complete without any followers around, and I'd like to do them quickly without the in-game travel time associated with fast travel. Maybe I really do want to be home in time for dinner! In situations like those, I'll be glad to have these teleport spells available.
Something else that is noteworthy is that these spells will also teleport multiple followers, unlike some other teleport spells I have used.
And even for those of us who are aware that we're skipping travel time, a snag that doesn't immediately make itself clear is that travelling about the world instantaneously (in game time) doesn't tend to give cells as much of a chance to reset... since they're on an in-game timer, and less in-game time is passing since we're instantly translocating rather than doing the gaming equivalent of a "4 hours later" timeskip. End result: Teleporting about without resting nor using slowtravel can result in unholy heaps of dead bodies and changed cells accumulating in the save file, leading to instability.
Yeah.
So remember to spend all that extra time NOT spent on travel sleeping in bed... or dossing around on benches.
SWIFT, Convenient Carriages & Teleport - City / Factions / Villages makes fast travelling by clicking a thing of the past now. Reminds me a lot of Enderal's Teleportation Scrolls. Thank you!
Mods that disable fast travel may be incompatible. When using disable fast travel (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2915/?) and both the Faction and Cities version of teleport spells the spells are castable but have no effect.
Yeah there is no real way around this, the spells themselves 'teleport' the player using fast travel, I might see if I can eventually make a version that 'coc' the player to the location, however that may take some time.
No problem! I think this mod has a lot of potential on playthroughs that aim to move away from fast travelling. The cart system in the game is nice but fairly limited so this mod adds more options to get around quickly.
I agree, however the only issue with a mod like this is that its very hard to add a 'down-side' to using the spells. Since they're found very easily in each city anyone can get their hands on them.
I want to eventually make some sort of unique quest for each spell so the player can feel a little more rewarded.
Not sure if you're still actively working on this mod/any mods, but I was looking for basically this mod but with scrolls instead of a spell. They'd be sold by (court)wizards for high prices, and since they're scrolls they'll be single-use. Combined with using coc to teleport instead of fast traveling (so that your mod works when a user installs a no fast-travel mod), This might become the ultimate immersive fast travel mod.
Hi there, I haven't touched the Teleport Spells mods in a few months now, I've been way to busy. A lot of people have asked for scrolls instead and originally I did want to have a way of using 'coc xxxxx' to teleport, but I'm rather new to the script language.
I'm currently using "Teleportation Network" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6612? ) which may help you. It allows you to drop a teleporter anywhere in the world.
I like your idea, it's more immersive. What I'm using is convenient but not something a novice mage should be able to do. (Maybe at expert or master.)
@ TheWulfPanda you said: "Yeah there is no real way around this, the spells themselves 'teleport' the player using fast travel, I might see if I can eventually make a version that 'coc' the player to the location, however that may take some time." You might want to take a look at the "Translocate - mark and recall spells" mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11467 ) this one has a way to mark any location- inside caves, houses, etc.- and just teleport there from anywhere.
Any update on compatibility with Arthmoor's Open Cities of Skyrim? Would you consider uploading the source code so we can tweak this mod in case you have abandoned it?
**Edit** Hello, so I went ahead and edited the mod myself to make it work with Open Cities of Skyrim. If you like I will send you the files so you can add them here for other players.
Yeah, Since the last update was 2017, i believe this mod isnt being maintained. Would you be so kind as to upload your patch/reworked mod? That would be much appreciated.

I hate having to choose between Open Cities or Teleport City - Spells.
