About this mod

Updates the original "Realistic Impacts" mod to have conditional variables to the blowback effect issued by Giants, Mammonths and Centureons, it also massively increases their health pools so fights are significantly longer.

Changelogs
Hi everyone.

Thought i'd release my take on the "Realistic Impacts" mod which hasn't seen an update in a 5 years.

As great as it was, I felt it wasn't quite up to my expectations so I tweaked it for my liking/tastes in my game.

What this update does:

1.) Gives Giants, Mammoths and Centurions significant health boost:
Centurions 400 > 2250
Giants 250 > 2000
Mammoths 500 > 2500

The reason for this is that it's incredibly easy very early on in the game to take down a Giant/Mammoths/Centurions especially by sneak shooting them with an arrow, by the time they realise whats going on or "find" you, you've already killed them. Increasing their health pools is also a way to drag out fights to be more fitting with their size - and give the "impact" effect more opportunity to actually trigger.

2.) Giants, Mammoths & Centurions can no longer experience "Knockback" or be pushed. Makes sense imo. This also served to help stop giants "ragdolling" themselves by accident from their own power attacks.

3.) Put conditions on the "Impact" effect, as well as appropriate FX when the impact plays.
The conditions for the impact effect to trigger are as follows:
The player must have <275 "Damage Resistance" (ie, how much armor you have)  In my game, this is considered quite alot.

However, for people running vanilla or other mods might find this is far too low and allows even a lower level character to negate the "Impact" effect.

I cannot possibly tailor this to everyones needs but I suggest they edit the value themselves in SEEdit which is easy enough, you'll find it at:
Magic Effects>T1_Impact_Force_Effect  and under the "Conditions" segment of the right pane.

In addition to the Damage Resistance check condition, there is also a Stamina check:

If the player/Target has less then 60% stamina, They will get "Impacted" (Blown back) regardless of their Damage Resistance. This is especially useful if you've made Stamina a more crucial mechanic in your game - like I myself have done so. It seems a bit silly if the player is able to completely stop any chance of a "Impact" after all.

Other conditions/changes are, it's only power attacks that have the capacity to "Impact" the player/NPC's. I've also removed Dragons entirely from this effect as there's many mods that do the same as this. This mod is exclusive to Mammoths, Giants & Centurions.

3.) Fixed a few bugs
So the original mod not only didn't have any FX triggered by it's impact (no dust effect etc)  but also could potentially make the giants be victims of their own attack - This was resolved by removing giants from recieving any knockback effect, as well as giving the Impact spell it's own magnitude and area of effect.

Compatibility:
Anything that Alters the Centurion, Giant and Mammoth races will most definitely conflict and likely cause this mod to not work. I'd advise everyone to use SSEEdit on this mod (Load up your entire load order) and then see which mods overwrite this one. If none of them, you're good to go - alternatively maybe create a bashed patch and hope it includes this mods changes.

I'd also suggest you use a robust Dragon Overhaul mod which brings them up to par with the creatures this mod changes.
