Deleting the three light sources (scene root) in the .nif seems to give back about 20 fps, and it still has a pretty decent glow. I'm now not noticing a hit that I'm aware of. Still can't get the trunk to show up though, even with ENB and all weather mods disabled in testing.
Edit* the trunk transparency seems to be linked to the alpha ratio, if you edit it in outfit studio to your liking you can get it to show up.
Why does no one mention this tree blocks off a giant camp completely? I notice the frame rate hit but it's this feature that I had to uninstall it on. The giants camp is often radiant quested in white run. Beautiful tree but the trunk needs to not reach the ground to avoid this issue. I wish it was more like a floating tree at the base.
I know this comment is a bit older, but in case anybody else reads this.
You can also just use the command "tcl" to disable the collision.
You could, as xndrive mentioned, also move it via console commands. You can use "getpos x/y/z" (the you have to get the axis coordinates separately. So you have to type in "getpos x", "getpos y" etc.) to get the trees positions and then you can use "setpos".
It is arguably easier to move it in the CK and just make a patch for it.
I can confirm the tree appears even without generating LOD, so you don't need to worry about re-generating. However I have the issue of the transparent trunk for which I cannot find a fix...
Mod is amazing, I always liked the Elden Rings' Gold Tree of the mighty. However not sure why it's missing trunk. Is this a bug?

I am using Obsidian Weathers and Seasons, is this possibly an issue? [Edit] Retested with Obsidian weathers removed, but still the trunk is barely visible.
Same problem. I tried without any weather/atmosphere or lighting mods and I tried with Cathedral, Obsidian, and Mythical Ages yet nothing works completely. Does anyone know what weather mod the author is using or if you need DynDOLOD or something? Shame because this mod hits that high fantasy real nice.
Given its sheer size it's obvious that it's very likely to conflict with other mods, so I'm not installing it on my current playthrough, but looks good, really. Edit: And BTW, where is it? Mod description says nothing at all.
