Changelogs
Version 1.2.3
Fixed a mistake that made it impossible to level skills when under effects that buff a skill value over 100 even when the base skill level was still under 100.
Version 1.2.2
Fixed a mistake in one of the dialogue conditions that made the dialogue to level Smithing not appear
Version 1.2.1
Changed script names to avoid conflicts with other mods. Fixed a mistake in one of the scripts which made One Handed advance only 1 level per soul.
!!! IMPORTANT !!! IF YOU USE EXPERIENCE DO NOT TRY TO BYPASS THE SKILL CAPS YOU WILL LOOSE A DRAGON SOUL AND THE SKILL WILL NOT LEVEL UP
I noticed that sometimes when leveling the same skill multiple times in a row I would get only 4 levels instead of the 5 I should be getting. It has to be some kind of a bug with Skyrim itself as the scripts in the mod should simply increment the chosen skill by 5 when selecting the dialogue. If you encounter this bug you can work around it by typing player.advskill skill 1 in the console.
This mod allows you to use Dragon Souls to level skills. You first need to meditate on a Word of Power with Paarthurnax and then you can ask him to help you use your Dragon Souls to gain knowledge. One Dragon Soul advances a chosen skill by 5 levels.
