Version 2.1
Finally got around to updating the .dds in Midwood Isle causing CTDs. You can thank ForgySkye for pointing out that the .dds used from woodpostdark01_n.dds would've been the same as woodpostdark02_n.dds, which means we can just use that version that has been copied. Apologies for leaving this for so long. I do have some other world mods that I may look into adding in the future, but for now this may bring some joy to people :)
Version 2
FOMOD be looking delish, added pics & small description, along with the update versions & links to the mods in question. Along with a special flag that can detect (for most mods) if a mod is active in your game. Also made fomod categories as well that align with the description of this page.
This was pretty much an overhaul with how this mod is set up. Essentially deleted every folder/file in my dyndolod fixes folder and redid/rechecked everything to try make it better.
Deleted every .esp and replaced them with "addon esps" rather than "replacement esps" for those uncomf with replacers.
Went and searched out various credit sources from the "problematic" mods so that we could see if we could find some level of root for the replacement nif or dds.
This includes downloading original source files/credits from mod author resource packs & trying to google search each problematic nif/dds if I didn't have it.
Recreated a bunch of normalmap textures, so you can choose to judge for yourself if they're worth it.
Regarding the new normals, I did this so it would lessen the chance of us having to remove extra meshes/textures in game and make your game look "cleaner"
Added individual txt files for each mod so that if you're unsure, curious or uncertain about ways or methods I've used, feel free to read them (some have extremely little info other than if the texture/mesh is authentic)
Added % alongside each txt file that represent how dodgy & badly affected certain mods may be. Some may be just personal pref, others are mostly because of the "lack of attention to detail" these mod authors had.
Added a future release notes txt file that includes complaints, thoughts & potential (& less potential) upcoming plans. Don't get your hopes up...
Updated mod description page so that it hopefully makes it clearer for users regarding some thoughts & concerning mods.
Seperated certain un-auto-detectable mods into their own categories so you hopefully won't miss them.
Turned on every mod in my LO (https://modwat.ch/u/mattski123/modlist) to see if we have problems with any.
Tested FOMOD to make sure it all runs & looks smooth.
