Hi :) nope; in this case the change stays the same and will work with the latest version of the original mod (and also with the latest version of the “updated” version which is a separated mod).
To be honest I don’t have idea xD If LotD includes a version of Book Covers Skyrim somewhere… then yes… But I don’t know. As far as I know it doesn’t… So I don’t think so… lol
Yes, I advise ANYONE and EVERY ONE that uses Legacy of the Dragonborn to read in the change log and update feature what it includes and Book Covers of Skyrim is now folded into LotD similarly to how other mods have been. I have read some of the fixes have worked for the LotD version of Book Covers of Skyrim so hopefully this should as well.
I found out via LOOT about it and then reading the updates for Legacy is advised which doing so might save you some plugin spots too. But a mod like this should also hopefully work too, only way to know is to test it for someone that has Legacy installed already.
PLEASE DO NOT delete any mods you already have for book covers of Skyrim either. There are those people that do not use LotD that might use BCOS that might NEED the fix anyways. It is best to keep it up and to NOT delete any mod associated with Book Covers of Skyrim.
And here I thought I'm done with mesh/UV/normalmap/texture fixes and replacers... Why do I keep finding more and more fixes, patches and small improvement mods?
What follows is a round of quiet internal screaming sounding rougly like this: "Aaaaaaaaaa! Fine! One more mod to the list!"

Endorsed!

Appreciating this little but useful fix.
