For SE there seems to be no "All In One" for toning down effects - which was the reason for making this to tame at least some of the worst.
An easier way for solving this could be by simply making the relevant effects- and gradients-textures used by spell effects more transparent. But that may have sideeffects if these textures are also used by torches, lighting or other things.
This is amazingly fantastic, exactly what i have been looking for to pair with my Ordinator Summoner run. Re-summoning 5 atronachs at night during combat results in wayy too much blindness... Just wanted to say thank you for being an amazing human being and sharing this with us!
Does work with anything but LE. SE and AE have the same nif format. But if you use ousnius's NifOptimizer, you can easily backport it to LE, too. It's just some meshes.
This is practically essential if you use the Lady Stone from Andromeda, since it summons a Sabre Cat companion at your position every time you enter combat, blinding you most of the time.

As for beeing amazing - if you ask my wife, I'm an grumpy old man.
