After testing numerous times, the combo buttons functions on sequential order:
If you set Trigger (Right) + A, you must press Trigger (Right) before pressing A button, not the other way around.
Trigger + Grip will never work no matter what, even tho Trigger + A works. If you want to do Trigger + Grip, you have to set Grip + Trigger instead.
Activate/Favourate sadly doesn't work on A button, if you're planning to place this function any button over than A (the UI will still show as an A button regardless of which key you set for Activate), you best forget about that.
But I recommend anyone to doublecheck their own setup capabilities because some binding restrictions come not from the game engine but from specifics of controller types and environment.
NOTE: If you try to load VRIK Rift-Index-WMR Controller Bindings V2.1.0, this app will throw a parsing error. It turns out that the VRIK map adds an unexpected Activate option to the "Favor" section of the file. If you open the file in a text editor and delete Line 229, the VRIK mappings will open in this app.
I've been wanting to be able to assign the shout button to the right controller joystick click and this mod made it really simple. Thank you very much.
is there a way to to put action on "hold" button instead of "click" button? For example, i want to change "hold Y" from "wait" to "tween menu", so i can free an X button
Alright, so everyone tells everyone to use this to edit bindings, so I must be missing something here..
First, how do you set "press" "touch" and "hold" to keys? When you edit a option, you only seem to be able to set the key? There is no way people are playing without the press and hold options being different as there are way too many control options needed to map just to fit on just regular pressing...
UEVR (a Unreal engine injector) has it where you can press a touch surface on a quest controller (that normally wouldn't be considered a button in a game) plus a joystick direction to emulate a dpad. can this use the touch surface as a basis for a combo or to execute an action? Does it rely on steamvr to accomplish this or works with any vr environment?
I need to change the binding of the Quest/Stats/System menu from the right stick press to something else. I looked around at how bindings are changed but I cannot find the action for this menu. ControlmapVR.txt doesn't seem to have that action. I thought it may be "console" but that is not bound to anything.
Yes, it works at the game level and not Steam bindings level. I'm not even sure if we can customize key mapping for SkyrimVR with Steam bindings at all. So feel free to use it with opencomposite.
1st I'd like to say: thank you for the mod, native Index controls suck hard!
2nd: Why can't you remap "take" in the item menu as a standalone button? This makes taking singular items out of containers impossible without taking everything or using/equipping it. :(
I've tried multiple times to work around it, but nothing has worked. So is it just impossible or am I missing something?

So the only way to edit hold options is via the difficult to use steam VR device settings?
With respect, why is this mod so popular then? I mean no disrespect to the mod author, but I feel like I am missing something here....

Any suggestions?
