Q: Does it work with R.A.S.S., Wet and Cold and other similar mods which add shader effects? A: Yes. In fact it should complement any such mods.
Q: Does it add effects in rain or snow? A: Yes, since version 1.1.0. It's disabled by default. I still recommend using ENB rain wet surfaces instead of this since it applies effects to the entire scene not just characters.
Q: Why do some objects reflect less light or none at all? A: Specular map textures define how much light is reflected on different areas of each mesh, some meshes may have specularity disabled altogether - it's up to the artist that designed it. There are many tutorials for editing these or you can grab a replacer.
It kinda works for me on 1.6.1170 but it causes an artifact (of sorts) with Wet Function Redux SE whenever WFR SE updates the character's wetness every cycle. I don't use this because of that.
It gives me an error message that it doesn't work after 1.6.6x when starting up the game (despite the fact that I installed the one that should). So if I am to believe it, then no, it doesn't work.
Seems to work fine for me on 79. Looks a bit too glossy on clothes, but that's alright since it encourages actually taking them off before going for a swim as you would in real life.
You can try just redownloading it? It's weird. I was getting a DLL error and the game wouldn't start. Redownloaded (even though it's literally the same file) and no more DLL error.
The point is to add specularity effects to individual characters when they're in water. ENB can only apply the effect to the entire scene in certain weathers. This is not a replacement for the ENB effect. There's the optional weather feature, but I made it very clear in the sticky that it's only for chars and you should be using ENB for that anyway.
