I'm playing a druid witchling character, and this sword fits sooo well. Have you ever considered trying your hand at an athame (ceremonial witch dagger)? I think with your impeccable attention to detail and adherence to your themes, you would knock it right out of the park. As a lover of the elegant sharp and pointy's, I thank you for sharing your massive talent!
This would override the very idea of this weapon. As its intended by its enchantment, this sword is a support weapon for a mage character, and making it two-handed will not allow to take advantage of its enchantment, since it would be impossible to cast spells while equipping it (enchantment works only when weapon is equiped).
