I try removing the fish and then install the mod like the instruction but for some reason I can't activate the plaque after installing the mod. Any idea why?
I have the same thing happen. Removed fish from Proudspire, installed the mod via NMM. Sorted mods with LOOT. Now the fish plaques in Proudspire are non-selectable for mounting fish. Any workarounds?
Fish display plaques in Windstad Manor, Heljarchen Hall, and Proudspire Manor have all been incorrectly set to use the aliases for the plaques located in Lakeview Manor. This results in all fish being put on displays, regardless of which house you're in, being attached to the plaques in Lakeview Manor. In order to correct this, the retroactive update script for USSEP 4.2.7 will first take down any fish that are occupying these aliases and return them to the player. Then the aliases on each of the broken rack controllers will be updated to point to the right references. When this process completes, if any fish you had needed to be removed, you will be informed by the patch when your save is loaded. This is a one time check that only needs to be performed on existing saves. New games will already have all of this data set from the start. (Bug #32450)
Bethesda is copying everything from nexus including the fix in this mod. Surprisingly enough they copied the mannequin fix from a nexus mod (they needed 10 years to figure out that).
Also I will tel you something: The issue with fast travel time from any town to Solitude is due to change in Update.esm (this has nothing to do with Skyrim EXE) and it's probably a wild (script) edit in Update.esm du to some CC changes that caused it
I assume that the Anniversary Edition referred to here is the base version 1.6+, not the paid version w/CC addons. Just wanted to check to make sure my assumption is correct, so it won't bite me in the end. Thanks!
I really wish there was some better way to refer to AE, the base, or all the way (AE-ATW) paid content.
The only reason any AE mod differs from others is if it uses Creation Club content that is NOT one of the 4 free ones included in the regular upgrade, which the mod maker would put in his description. I.E. wSkeevers butter churn fix.
Damnit Bethesda! I really, really want to like and support them! Most of the Elder Scrolls, Wolfenstein (modern), Fallout (modern) and Dishonored games are on my top 20 all-time favorite games list! (Nothing will ever beat Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 or Fallout 1 & 2 though.) I really want to think well of them! Why do they have to keep shoving bad work out on the public? It isn't like they are government contract workers! If I could get Todd H. in front of me, I would beg him to do better, because he is going to go from a semi-cult figure (who we love to poke fun of while still loving him), to someone that we remember for betraying our trust because he became corrupt. I really really do not want that for him, or for Bethesda. I really hope they stop this kind of thing.

Is this an esp-fe? I know you said I can remove it from my load order once the fix is applied but I like to setup my LO carefully, then once I start 'actually playing' leave it untouched.
What would we do if we were solely at Bethesda's mercy for bug support? We wouldn't still be playing this game and it wouldn't have been able to be remarketed and resold to the same consumer base three times.
Hey winkingskeever :) Can you remake script-free and bug-free "Helmet Overlays - Improved 1st Person Experience" Because as you know, we haven't still a immersive camera for Anniversary Edition. This would be perfect, and only you can do this like champ.
