    For those who still annoyed with quest objectives AND don't want to read through 2k comments

    setobjectivecompleted AAEMCompViljaQuest1 10 1 ------> help her find thieves completed
    setobjectivecompleted AAEMCompViljaQuest1 15 1 ------> give bottle to Vilja completed

    Use this for simplicity and for convenience, or create bat

    Obviously enter those AFTER finding them and giving her bottle

    Load Vilja (verison 4.2) 's Scripts(qf_aaemcompviljaquest1_02001829.pex) before talk with two thugs can slove this problem.(Give the bottle to Vilja and Help Vilja finding the two thugs that have been stealing from her Objectives)

    same here .. the bottle and thieves are still marked incomplete.
    Any fixes for this so far?

    will this cause any issue with Vilja other quests completion?

    Same. I did player.sqs xx001829 to get the quest status for all of the different stages. I see that stages 0, 5, and 20 are marked incomplete. Doing a setstage to turn those 0s into 1s doesn't change anything, even after a save, reload, game restart. Also tried summoning Beatrid or whatever her name is to the bannered mare and having her fast-forward the relationship to having all of the ingreds collected for the bottle quest - 1st 2 still unfinished. I really wouldn't care, but she has a big quest-marker arrow stuck to her head all the time from the stuck "give the bottle..." task. I have found posts with people complaining about this for literally 7 years, and haven't seen a good solution posted anywhere. Help?

    1) Steps 1 and 2 are marked as unfinished

    2) Help gather ingredients unfinished, but collect ingredients done. Why are there even 2 steps for this?

      NVM, Vilja asked for the final ingredient days later... Still, it bugs me having "not finished yet done" quest's steps.

      I'm having the same issue as 1) - Give the bottle to Vilja and Help Vilja finding the two thugs that have been stealing from her Objectives are both showing up as incomplete, although those are the ONLY two I have done, about 9 gameplay hours ago.

      Started from a New Game and Immediately got Vilja in Whiterun as soon as I got there. I haven't been to Eldergleam yet. I wanted to do a few Main Story quests to level up a bit. Just decided to continue Vilja quest and I noticed the supposedly incomplete Objectives. I'm about to head to Eldergleam and just hope everything a works out eventually....

      Loved Vilja in Oblivion and this is my first time using her in Skyrim. I really hope I didn't mess up my first playthrough with her somehow.

      I'm only using 13 mods but perhaps 10 where added after I recruited Vilja and I did change my load order around a few times as I have a habit of keeping similar mod types in groups. But I always do that in Bethesda games and, as far as I'm aware, it's never caused issues for me before. :/
