About this mod

This is an experimental compatibility patch that makes Awesome Artifacts work seamlessy with SimonMagus overhauls such as Mysticism, Apothecary and Thaumaturgy. Adamant doesn't need any patch. Since I am currently unable to test them, due to bethesda.net being OoO, I kindly ask you to check it out and report any issue.

NOTE : as per Argonil reply, most patches are redundant. Please read the comment by Argonil reported below. You can only use the provided thaumaturgy patch, which simply allows Rimeglass swords to spawn in the world. The same effect can be achieved with a bashed patch.
Please note that Adamant doesn't need any patch as well.

Hi. Thank you for your efforts, it's truly great to see that users are willing to go the extra mile to make their installations bug-free. Unfortunately, all 3 of the patches you've made are redundant; the Mysticism and Apothecary patches are actually harmful, and the Thaumaturgy patch resolves conflicts that should be determined by load order. The only records that you can keep are the ones for the Glass Sword lists. Wrye Bash can generate the exact same records, but then you have the option of using the patch instead if you aren't a Wrye Bash user.

If you load Thaumaturgy last then you'll be using the robe enchants from that mod. It reduces spell costs depending on rank, i.e. Adept robes reduce the cost of Novice, Apprentice and Adept spells by 25%. If you load Awesome Artifacts last then you'll instead use its robe enchants which affect all spell ranks like vanilla except they also increase the power of spells. You can choose for yourself depending on load order if the rest of your mods permit it. The patch would only be handy if you have other mods which prevent you from changing the load order according to what you'd prefer.

For Mysticism, you only need to load Awesome Artifacts after it. AA's records should win the conflict. If you don't want a load order requirement then you can copy the conflicting records from Awesome Artifacts into the patch without changing anything, that way AA's records will override Mysticism even if Mysticism is loaded last.

AA makes Soul Husk Extract grant 15% Magic Resistance. Apothecary makes it grant 25% Magicka regeneration. Your load order would normally determine which effect you get, but by merging the changes you've made it grant 15% Magicka regeneration which is weaker than either mod's effect. Since AA also makes it dispel the Drain Vitality shout regardless of load order, I would recommend loading AA last for the 15% Magic Resistance and not using any patch.

Cheers.
