Has any othe ruser reported about the Restoration quest where you go to the Miden to repel the undead, ocationally a large huge script lag will happenand persist pointing at this mod questline (you can check bugged scripts with ReSaver). Also noted that Arniels path finding tends to bug a most of the time, spceially with College overhauls.
That means you have script lag (prior to this mod) or a ton of mods using cloak effects.
I'm using the same method used in tons of vanilla quests, so if you have issues with my mod, its a sign of bigger problems that will also appear while doing vanilla quests. Basically, each time the draugr get hit, the game checks if the hit is coming from repel the undead. However, mods using cloak methods will count as hitting the draugr repeatedly which will cause this issue.
But again, this is not something specific to my mod, lots of npcs in vanilla use the same method and will result in similar lag if using those mods. It could be avoided by making a different version of my mod for papyrus extender, but there's no point when most people are no longer using those outdated mods and you will most likely kill the draugr in like 2 minutes, putting an end to the problem.
Arniel: its possible. You can just talk to him and tell him to meet him there, he will teleport directly.
I'm also having this issue. This is definitely an issue with my script heavy load order and NOT an issue with this mod. The script lag unfortunately doesn't go away after killing all the draugr and leaving the Midden and I continue to get dump stacks on Cow_OnDeathDraugr.OnMagicEffectApply. I've found solutions for other OnMagicEffecyApply issues with OnMagicEffectApply Replacer so I'll just have to find a solution to this.
the enchanted to meet you quest is bugged for me, I wasn't given the dagger to disenchant, I cant for the life of me find the quest id, whenever I use the save funclist command I get an empty text file. i have no idea how to fix this or progress the quest using console commands
Something going on with the npc adara in my game lol. She is just invisible, at first I thought she was in an odd place so after looking around I gave up and looked up her ID, tried tping to her but it just moved me to some empty area in the town. Then i tried the "Easy mode" patch, it pointed at that same place but theres nothing there. As a last resort I tried placing her at me and nothing happened so I just came to the conclusion she is just the void in my game. Any idea what to do here? Edit: I had something conflicting with RS children, double checked the load order after reinstalling RS children and now she shows up normally.
Cool mod. My only gripe is that 7 lessons back to back is quite a lot. Have you considered breaking up the lessons in between vanilla College quests?
For example you could make it so that completing 3 lessons (instead of all 7) unlocks the Saarthal quest, then completing 2 more lessons unlocks Hitting the Books, then completion of the final 2 lessons would unlock Good Intentions (the Augur of Dunlain quest). This way the lessons wouldn't all be completely frontloaded at the beginning, and the lessons would be a nice way to break up the main quest.
Same here. Second time happening, Never got to continue after first lessons. In my first Playthrough i got around with console command: "setstage COW_CentralQuest 0"
Second playthrough, No luck. same command, no change in stages.
Hi @jayserpa, I'm also facing the same issue. After the ward lesson, "College Curriculum" didn't start. Here is my load order, another mod that touches the CoW quests is wSkeever's CoW Quests Start Fixes. Since I'm on PC (SE 1.6.1170 to be exact), can you give us the quest ID?
Thanks.
Edit: thanks @57ALAY, using setstage COW_CentralQuest 0 fixed it for me
Feel free to post a crash log under spoilers, please don't overtake the entire mod page comments with a crash log.
The chances of this mod causing a crash are... super low however. There are no edits to any of the characters and barely any world changes. You'd be the first of 380.000 people to experience it, which makes me think this mod is not at fault.

Just my two cents, otherwise good mod!

Please, check your mods, you might have something messing with this mod or the college, but the quest works fine.
