was really looking forward to trying this house out, the most interesting of the homes included with living skyrim. but i just cannot find this, the map replacer with living skyrim just does not easily translate from the distorted vanilla map. have been all over the areas i think it could be.. any hints possible that reference prominent locales? i.e. due south from helgen, etc appreciate any help!
If you look at the map he provided, which is completely blank, you wouldn't be able to figure anything out. there are no map markers for anything to give you even the slightest idea of where this is. You know it's somewhere near Falkreath but you can't tell which direction and I think the mod authors responses or complete lack there of are very arrogant. it's almost as if he deliberately posted it with no map marker location, all the while snickering to himself, "let's see you find this ya dumb asses!" The mod author's responses to people that are having trouble finding his mod are arrogant, rude, and patronizing and in my opinion uncalled for. They are asking for help and you insult their intelligence. I definitely won't be downloading this mod any time soon!!!
go southeast of Falkreath, following the cobblestone road until you're up against the mountain side. you're going to walk maybe 75-100 steps south along that road before you see it, but look at the picture closely. it has three rocks stacked on top of each other, between two big rocks, and you can still see the cobblestone road when you're looking at it.
basically, follow the road as close as you can. if you can't see the road touching the cliff, then that's not the spot.
it's not hard if you follow this, but following any other instructions took me almost 30 min to find the damn thing.
Hello there! Love the mod and the house, but I can't seem to get the house to register as a place to move for my family. All that shows up are the base game homes I have (and Hearthfire homes). Am I missing something? I tried to look for a trigger or something in the Pinewood home, and I tried to sleep/rest for a day or two after getting it set up. I saved and then loaded up the save after restarting the game but I can't sort out how to move my family to Pinewood. Help!
**addition** I've never used the Hearthfire Multiple Adoption Mod, I didn't realize they had a spell for custom homes. So sorry! But hopefully this is useful for others. Thank you again for a fantastic player home! You're incredible.
I know that this is a Proteus mod issue (I think I know anyway), and assume it's because Proteus doesn't save Pinewood Manor information from your character when you use the 'New Character/Switch Character' parts of Proteus, but when you do that, Pinewood Manor doesn't have anything that you've painstakingly built remaining. I walked in and my stone bridge was wood again, and the only furniture remaining was the front porch benches and chessboard. Everything in the house was gone except the tops of the enchanting and alchemy tables, and a few random objects near them, and in the basement the forge containers were all gone, but the overlays of my things were there. I couldn't click to access the storage, but I was able to use the remote access to get my things out of all the house storage thankfully. The workbenches are still there to make things since I never removed them, but they don't have anything in them since somewhere it's recorded that I've already made everything and can't make them a second time. I could do a clean save/reinstall of the mod to get it to let me rebuild, but I'm leaving this here not only for people having the same issue, but also so that it might be able to be added to the 'Compatibility' list on the description page here as being incompatible with that part of Proteus. Awesome house mod, and I totally WANT to use it, but I have to decide if its worth sacrificing another mod.
have been loving the house and its setup. finally got around to making that blackbook and visiting that daedra merchant. loaded in fine but when i asked to see what he sold he finished his daiologe then the game crashed. the crash said something about "0x7ffc71edcd29 KERNELBASE.dll+002cd29 nop [rax+rax*1], eax" any ideas?
Hey there. I am experiencing some issues in that location. There is a weird sort of snowy mesh that goes right through the back yard and it's really unpleasent looking. I am guessing it may be caused by Majestic Mountains perhaps? Has anyone else experienced this?

Where i can find my Ammo because there is no Chest for this? (I have found it in the Misc Chest)

Close to the T crossing with the long road that goes off the map and the road that goes around Falkreath.
