Alright everybody, re-installing Skyrim and the Creation Kit. No promise as to a time-frame since work and life are much busier than almost 5 years ago when I made this, but since this was the more popular of my "for-my-game-only" mods and I just started a new Skyrim play through I'll take a look at making some updates :D.
    ---
Update: Apologies for never getting to this, ended up getting a new job and moving and this fell off my radar. Just ran across it again randomly. At this point I figured it best to remove the plans/thoughts here since it's unlikely I'll be able to do them. Though I'm happy to give permission for anyone who would like to fork or expand on the idea of this mod.

Can't wait for the updates, hopefully this doesn't break my non-anniversary game because this is a feature sorely missing from Sacrosanct.

Aw man, this looked so promising. But it seems like no matter what, I don't see the feed option.

[EDIT]: I realized that this is likely because I have "Just Bite" installed, which is the source of the problem, I believe. I can feed on my thralls using that method, but the only caveat is that the window from this mod pops up every time I do it. It's annoying, but otherwise, it's functional.

I love the concept but there should be a difficulty check or something. A bit too easy to game the system.

Strange. This doesn't seem to properly work with hostile npcs, such as bandits. When subjugating them, they remain technically hostile with their red icon on the compass, combat music, and staring hatefully with the intent to kill. Enthralling them with the other spell and talking doesn't seem to do a thing at all. Neat idea in concept, but it doesn't seem to function for my use case.

Can anyone make a patch so the cattle are not essential? It makes no sense for them to be essential.

Came here to request exactly that. Like other vamp cattle in the game, you should be able to decide whether or not you'd like to feed or drain them. It doesn't really make sense to essentialize them since it's already impossible to "overfeed" anyway. Looks like the mod is abandoned, so idk if this will ever be patched.

I agree this would be nice. You can manually fix it by clicking the cattle in the console and use their RefID to make them nonessential.

      setessential [RefID] 0

Mod looks great and plays quite well.  Just one question:  If I enthrall a hostile NPC such as a regular bandit, it sometimes turns hostile on me when I use the summon spell.  They don't "attack" me, but they are shown as a hostile, as indicated by a red dot on compass, and I am unable to fast travel or sleep because of this.  I am assuming either I am not supposed to enthrall a hostile NPC, or this is an unintended bug.

Whenever you have the time to respond, your insight will be much appreciated.

Is this compatible with Vampire overhaul Sacrosanct? I'm using that mod for the first time over better vampires but it dosnt let you make Thralls like BVs does so im looking for a way to make them without breaking Sacrosanct. As i said i normally play Better Vampires which has so much more options but well Sacrosanct offers a few things i really like to try out this time round.
