Please report any bugs and leave sugestions, I'll take even more time until I can work in the mod again.
So i thought i'd try this today but i ended up not using it because it installed three plugins and it put me over the limit. Would it be possible for just one?
The replacer textures look weirdly heavy for a strapless dress (close to the sack texture of vanilla skyrim). Compared to the bar keeper outfit at least. That outfits sleeves look way lighter/smoother. Otherwise one of the better replacers i have seen.
I wanted it to be pure white but skyrim make anything that is not very grey to shiny at night like a lighthouse.
The corset should give the necessary support to breasts and the armstraps distribute the weight, I think would give a good looks/usability ratio. The ?backstrings? seems to exist only for regulate the size. The only problem I see is that if the strings in the back get loose or snap it would be a field day.
If you know a good source on the physics and design aspect would be nice, everything I search about corsets is just: they help you, they look good, see those hiper thinner waists but nothing in deep.
Looking up "shoulder free dress medieval" suggest that you should either lower the sleeves, to make them react properly to gravity (as they are not supported by the corset) OR you would have to model/texture it in a way that there is something tightening the upper end (some lacing or similar), so they stay in place. Alternatively, you could either pull the cloth higher, allowing for the upper chest to support the dress, though then you will have to say bye bye to cleavage, if not for some modeling heavy solution similar to Ciris loose blouse in Witcher 3.
Though I think the visually lighter materials go a long way already. And can you play around with contrast and brightness? That might do the trick to make it look flatter. (I have no insight on the process, so I wouldn't know.)
I tried to give some charm using colored ties between the armpits, never again. Weighting it was a horror and it got really ugly when in movement. Maybe in the end the notion of a shoulder free dress is not viable in medieval times because of how elastic materials are rare and lose elasticity too easily.
Maybe another variant with more up dress but by now it'll be left like this
Fair. The only thing I could think of is to just go with the short barkeeper sleeves. It's not like cold arms would be a concern for them. I will keep an eye on it anyway.
nope, the male clothes are pretty good on it's own. The mod was made just to replace some clothes that in the original Modernize Vanilla had some funk physics and by design where not good to apply physics

I've been trying to do something closer to vanilla textures.
