Hello, is there a chance you could do something with the "falmerchieftentscorp.nif" located in data/meshes/dlc01/architecture/falmerhuts/ and the "dlc1falmertotem01.nif" in data/meshes/dlc01/clutter/ to give them the same nice glowing spots/eyes?
Great mod! Is there a patch needed for https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/32301 (HD Falmer Armor - Weapons - Huts - Everything - Glow) ? Or does this make that redundant?
Don’t worry, there’s no conflict. You can use both mods together :) I’m not using that mod but I just checked and the author didn’t include the same meshes. He only included some weapons and armor meshes to add glow… and that’s separated from what this mod does… The rest of textures are going to be perfectly compatible if they follow vanilla style (even if they look darker and are 4K or whatever) ^-^
I just checked that mod and it doesn't include the same mesh. If it modifies the eyes of the falmer it would be through one of the plugins I guess (I haven't tested it). So, I don't think I can patch that... although you could just install one of the optionals here (probably the “vanilla” option) and see what happens :P
No problem :) And about Metallurgy… it doesn’t conflict. It’s just that in vanilla the eyes of the Falmer use the moonstone ore textures. And fadingsignal includes a great texture for that in his mod but in a different directory than vanilla. So, I just redirected the mesh texture paths to take advantage of that texture if you were already using Metallurgy mod :)
Well, yeah… there are always new plans but I prefer to leave it as a surprise XD And there’s stuff that needs some testing hehe So, I hope next time I can say “boom! You didn’t see that one coming!” once again… haha
