There are two problem with the mod:
- It hides two vanilla recipes
- Created shields come with an effect, which prevents the player from adding their own chosen enchantment
This mod adds a plugin replacer that:
- Fixes the two mentioned issues
- Slightly reduces the amount of materials needed to bring them closer to vanilla recipes
- Slightly changes the stats (1-4 armor, 1-2 weight) to make the shields somewhat different from each other
- Added 'Shield' to the names to make them searchable in menus
The plugin is flagged ESL.
To use:
- Download and install the original mod (any version) for the models
- Download and install this mod, override the original plugin if asked
