This just has been ported to Xbox, so thank you. I'm bit of a building addict and I already play with Campfire Wild fires (I think on PC it's called Build your own Settlement), the Interact-Build-Decorate mod, and the Debug Menu for commands like to make NPCs use furniture or place idles, but none of these mods let me place/edit navmesh? I can create a great house with the NPCs bumping into things LOL Does this mod let me play with the navmesh inside of the homes?
Roger that. I can't test it yet as I would have to kill my perfectly crafted playthrough at level 82, but I will eventually. I usually just wonder if it works with the Live Another Life mod, as I've noticed some of the mods that add items at the begging of the game don't, and they require a tweak.
I haven't tried it yet, just saw on bethnet, are you using an alternative start mod?
I would love if the creators behind these building/decorating mods come together and set up a taskforce, to give us a one consistent way of doing stuff, I still believe IronDusk's mechanism to place items is the best, no scrolls or clicking -+ 10 five hundred times to move an item necessary, but his mod doesn't offer as many items as LVX does, or houses like this mod offers. Do you think that if we sent them some energy drinks and donuts they would? ;-)
I've downloaded the MOD using the Bethesda.net creations and as far as I am aware the "scrolls" should automatically appear in my inventory, but it's not doing that? Do I need to buy them off a merchant or something?
You'd likely need to use console commands, and you should be able to find those records of items under xEdit to open the mod, then hunt the item names.
I would probably suggest against that, but you can try ReSaver/FallRim to fix your file if you install. Reason being is because this has scripts attached to it, so wouldn't recommend uninstalling mid-game.
this is totally awesome!!! if using borders disabled can i build houses and shops outside the boarders? so curious. because it can be a way to totally exspand skyrims open world to a much bigger scale.
Gosh that's an idea and a half... You could even potentially make a "mod" from that somehow. Maybe selecting those objects you place, find their base ref, get coordinates including rotation, and you could probably release a mdo like that lol.
Posting this here since I don't know if this is an issue LE mods have/can address:
Hey this mod has a lot of temporary references (around 53074), is it ok to add an esm flag to this mod so that they only load in when needed? From what I understand: for esp files, temporary references load in the moment you start the game and stay loaded in. ESM files or esp files flagged with an esm flag instead load in those temporary references when you are in their cell. The only reason I am asking is that there is a reference limit that can be loaded into the game (2^20 or around 1.1 billion) and when you hit that cap the game CTDs or has infinite loading screens. This mod consumes around 5% of the cap and most of the references are temporary references so an esm flag could help but I don't know how that will affect this mod considering the mod's gameplay mechanics. I do know that esm flags do cause esp files to be loaded with esms so it will affect load orders, but load orders shouldn't matter that much for this mod.
