How do you use this to disable the arbitrary level caps on skills? I tried both skillcap base and skillcap multiplier, but as far as I can tell those either have nothing to do with it, or they do and don't work. Either way I'm stuck at 22 stealth at level 2. I really like everything else about this mod, but I don't like that it polices how I play the game in this specific way by default with no easy way to turn it off.
Edit: Nevermind, after trying multiple times, suddenly one of them worked. I didn't do anything different, so I have no clue what changed.
Been trying to figure out what is causing my issue, once I hit level 3 the menus start getting slow and shuddering, it happen on all menus but the skill seem to be the worst. FPS drops to 40 to 50 and each level it seems to lose more FPS, how much does your mod effect the menus? I still think its something to do with an old version of SKYUI but not sure? does your mod have an ESP so i can disable it to verify the mod isn't the issue? I am using 1.6.1170
You can set Group Factor to 0.1 so they steal less XP or 0.0 to disable XP penalty. Alternatively you can increase killing XP globally by setting Killing Multiplier to 1.1 or 1.2 which is 10-20% increase.
I am confused what the "level range" feature does. Does it make it so that if I am X lvls higher than my opponent I don't get XP for the kill? https://imgur.com/a/6LSwCaE
From the Settings Explained article on the Experience mod page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/1551. "Maximum level difference between the player and his target. The closer to this number the less XP." I think this means the OP is correct.
I don't see it in my Mod Configuration menu. I see my other mods -- and I am getting XP -- I just want to change the rates. How do I access the menu options?
I have SkyUI but it's not registering the menu in MCM. I'm guessing this may have something to do with the fact that I'm playing Skyrim VR and not just normal Special Edition but I would like to adjust my XP gains while with a follower. And if it can be done in the ini file, well, I'm pretty damn stupid when it comes to making any adjustments there. The MCM menu just makes it way easier but it's not the end of the world as having a follower doesn't change XP for clearing dungeons and completing quests, which is the bigger gain anyway. But if someone knows what's up, I'd appreciate it.
