well consider yourself an artist because one of your presets inspired me to finally sit, learn and successfully create my own standalone follower; something I've always wanted to do but either some presets had too many requirements and/or it didn't motivate me enough to make the effort
I used proteus when I first downloaded your preset to make him a follower, however I didn't like the mod(there's the lazy followers mod too which I've used in the past, but didn't like it either)
besides, I use Unique Character mod which is incompatible with COTR - even with the custom male body patch by kartoffel - because I don't like altering the appearance of vanilla npcs, so another reason to try and create a standalone follower
never used COTR nor I don't feel like it for my dragonborn but your work of art made me download a 1.2GB mod, and it was totally worth it, even spending 2 days troubleshooting the creation process felt rewarding after conclusion
I'm trying to not write a wall of text here but I'm so grateful I found this, I mean, good looking presets without 20 or something requirements??? yes please oh and I'm a SAM Light user too so when I found out the preset has SAM morph sliders I knew I had found the one
thank you for your amazing contribution to the community and meaningful one to my modding journey, I wish I could endorse and give you kudos more than once
Something not cool is happening to me these days. But your kind comment encouraged me to be passionate for male presets again and upload second one. Thank you very much.
and I'm grateful once again for your amazing work, as you've probably seen already, I made 2 more standalone followers based on your new presets and I just love them I always wanted to have a handsome ninja follower, I had the armor but not the character, and your new preset 043 is exactly what I've been looking for all this time - same as preset 061, always wanted a samurai follower too
I sincerely wish the best for you and the strength to deal with whatever you're going through I'm very happy to hear my previous comment encouraged your passion, also, let me thank you again for your awesome work, thanks to you, now that I know how to create standalone followers, I've been learning so much more about modding and it's so rewarding and satisfying I seriously can't thank you enough for the inspiration you've given me through your male presets and I'll keep looking foward to more presets you might release
If the default of COTR has purple face then I have no idea. These are just presets for COTR, so the default character of COTR should be running on your skyrim. Please make sure you install main COTR file and it's requirements correctly.
I can’t seem to make this work. I’ve installed all the required mods and removed High Poly Head and don’t have any other mods that affect Racemenu or character faces, yet my character looks nothing like the presets.
You don't need to remove high poly head, High Poly Head and COTR they work together since COTR adds new races.
1. Go to racemenu 2. Select 'RACE' on the left upper corner. 3. Then select COTR race something like 'Breton DZ' or 'Imperial DZ' or 'Nord DZ' or whatever 'racename DZ' you want. 4. Select 'Presets' on the right upper corner. 5. Then select 'Load Preset' on the left down corner. 6. Select preset file. 7. If the character looks different from screenshots, choose different race like Argonian then back to COTR race and try to load preset again.
I downloaded COTR long ago when it's on Nexusmods, but it's hidden now. So I'm not sure but the first one 1.22GB 7z file would do, I guess. All we need is Only 1 COTR main file for the presets, not 17.
But if you want elf ears, any race in COTR can have them. Search 'ear' in racemenu, set [ElfEarType] to 0~20, then set [Elf Ear Length] to the size you want.

here: COTR Male Presets 2
I'm using SAM Light and it works fine with the preset.
If you're having a compatible issue with SOS body then try this mod.

I don't know what's wrong. The default of any COTR is purple.

Sure , quite a few of the faces feel repetitive and generic but all the Asian faces are particularly well done :D
It is nice to see more people are using COTR and understand its versatility .

set [ElfEarType] to 0~20,
then set [Elf Ear Length] to the size you want.
