Thanks so much! I love Grunt and this makes him even better! Well, quieter at least so I can hear NPCs talking!

Hi! I am thinking of getting the Grunt the Bear mod for my Druid playthrough. But don't want him to be too noisy. This mod seems perfect. Is there any way you can put this mod on Bethesda.net? I am on PC but I only know how to mod via Bethesda.net. I know, sad. Pretty please?

Sorry for not responding sooner! You've probably found a way around the issue now, but I'll add this is Bethnet nonetheless

Thanks for this sound mod. I use master trainer and I mainly ride bears. Great mod for any bear rider who dislikes the constant idle sound of bears.

You are most welcome, glad to help you tame your bear.

I just tried this and the bears are still pretty loud. Does it just make it quieter? I tried using silent bears from Old Skyrim too trying to get rid of the loud bears. Wish there was a way to just mute them.

This mutes them out of combat - if it's not doing that, it hasn't been installed right. Because I designed it to go with Grunt I decided I didn't want to fully mute them, as I figured he'd still be getting angry when he was actively attacking, but would be well trained enough to not be roaring and growling when we were chilling at the inn.

So, if you can get "near" a bear and not hear it start to roar, but when it engaged you, it's working. If it's being noisy at you the whole time it's not. Did you do a manual or manager install? If manual, where did it end up?

What software did you use to remove the sound from the wav file ?

Hmm, I like my bears sounding horny... but it's a must have if you use Grunt, you're right.
