      Teiruei Nbzlpngtf?

/shrug No clue what it is supposed to mean though since, as far as I can tell, it's gibberish. The combination looks pretty neat though.

Very interesting mod!! Would you consider making a re texture for a plain version without the runes and writing? And maybe additions to make slightly more powerful versions with Daedric and Dragonbone Sword stats?

Oh and could we get non-special edition compatible versions too??

Currently I am overwhelmed by a lot of stuff and I consider this mod as finished so...

Also the sword is included in my TRM Merged mod which is available for both SSE and Olrim.

Looks good, technically this would be a falchion in terms of the blade design, although I don't know that Vikings ever forged such blades themselves... anyway nice job!

There have been one edged viking swords. I'm aware that technically it's a falchion.

There were some seaxes of the Viking age that were shaped more or less like this, even if it's not the prototypical shape for one. Great work, either way! It fits in nicely with the game.

I have a wooden seax with that hilt design, and I've seen some reproductions with it too. Gorgeous blade!

I thought at first all viking swords were double edged too. But apparently there are actual historical examples of single-edged viking swords that have been dug up. And most definitely some falchion designs are quite similar to this

The first image made it look like it had flat ended no spike.

Why do swords have the spike on the end, instead of flat like machete?, flat seems better for cutting.

Do you mean the point at the end of the blade? If so, that's to thrust with the blade. A sword with the ability to stab can help with dealing with armour by stabbing between the gaps. Remember, machetes are tools meant for clearing brush and wood, not primarily meant for people. Though they can certainly be used for that. Swords, however, are expressly meant to kill, so more ways to kill more effectively is usually good for a weapon.

I think the first picture, the angle cuts off the point of the blade. It's an odd perspective shot. Unless you mean the shape of the pommel, which is more an aesthetic choice for the mod author I think. I love the blade looks personally, though I'd really love a disc/wheel pommel instead. Again, aesthetic.

Could that black witting be removed?

No. Some time ago someone pointed out that some of my work was stolen. So I will be tagging everything I make.

I just want to say that is truly awful that some pos is stealing some of your work.

Maybe if it's possible you can put your tag/signature somewhere else on this weapon (or on future weapons) like for example putting it on a place most people can't see it, like the scabbard or hilt and when you inspect the weapon in the inventory menu we can see your signature.  Just an idea, and feel free to consider this if you want.

I really like it how it looks on blades. Maybe for something that has runes on it I might find more hidden place. Scabbard is not an option, they can simply ditch it....

Its just the thing man. You made it so it looks nice. but from somebody that didnt make it. it looks like some unimmersive writting on it. Brand your name into the metal like it was made by a blacksmith. Or do what Cadbal did with his midian work, Sign the dds file where is not on the weapon.

It's a really lovely sword, I don't suppose there's a quick way to make the black writing the same colour/illumination as the runes?

I imagine them as both put in by the sword maker, runes having religious significance, signature being prestige
But I'd love if they shined the same
