For some reason it doesn't work for Rifton. Also an update would be nice, but I'm not gonna count on you doing it.

i like the idea, you should also consider a harder version since "you have to be a known person" acording to the Jarl, so a hard version like doing all quest of the hold would be cool to. or at least 10 quest.

Well there's a small problem with that idea. Each hold has a different amount of favors and to change each requirement would most likely require the scripts to be changed. And then there are two types of favors, (although they aren't counted to be different) ones that require you to do a specific "mini" quest, one that's basically "harvest food or ingredients and sell to someone". Some holds probably require the person to do those harvest quests to fulfill the thane requirement.

And then there are times where a bug may happen that makes it impossible to complete a favor, or the favor doesn't count. So to fix that would need console commands.

And then to count all of the favors for each hold would be very hard to do as the files in the Creation Kit don't give a good hint to what hold the quest is for, or which ones they are for.

So although it sounds like a good idea to make it harder, I won't be doing it because I'm not talented enough to do it.

I see, and i confess i also hate doing those favors haha still the idea was add some realism "to be a known person" anyways, you're right not all quest counts so it will probably be dificult and of course the main mod idea is great.

Honestly, I think just being the Dragonborn would be enough to satisfy the "be a known person" requirement tbh, especially if you've already completed the main quest. Hell, even being the Harbinger or Arch Mage should be enough because there are always people in every hold who acknowledge you as such.
