For those interested, I had created a lore friendly heights patch for RS Children based on RBM that tweaks the children heights to be more in line with their race. It is here.
Absolutely love this, just tested the extreme version in game and it works just as intended. The racial diversity is OFF the charts. Muh immersion is skyrocketing. I need a ladder to talk to Ancano face to face. 10/10
This is one of those mods where I pity anyone who hasn't installed it. Truly amazing. And if anyone wonders, I run BHUNP, HIMBO with SoS, AND use Racial Skin Variance and I haven't had a single problem.
I'M SO DAMNED CONFUSED! I use this mod and the patch for Imperious that clearly says you need this mod for it to work. I install them both and get 2 errors through LOOT telling me this mod is redundant and use only the Imperious version.
Hello. Be sure that you are using the patch that directly corresponds to the version of Racial Body Morphs (RBM) Redux that you are using (i.e., Subtle, Normal, or Extreme). The RBM + Imperious patch mod uses the same separate designations for the file name.
This is also true for those using Aetherius - A Race Overhaul. Make sure you are selecting the correct file name version for the patch. This is what I use (the subtle version).
That being said, I believe I had the same issue trying to use RBM with Imperious and it had to do with the fact that the patch file is looking for the name 'Racial Body Morphs Redux' when the main file ESP is named 'Racial Body Morphs.' Since there is a naming discrepancy, LOOT treats them as two separate competing plugins. Sometime in the past, one or the other renamed the plugin. This can, technically, be adjusted in SSEEdit by changing the name of the file the patch is looking for to match the RBM plugin name.
this is just a guess but if you use one of those mods that makes the player a different race id imagine you would be unaffected. iirc Ultimate Body enhancer does this but fair warning the mod author is a bit of a, uh, crybaby. so if it doesnt work dont expect help from him. or you could do one of those other race mods that adds stuff like snow eleves and whatnot
Is there a way to make this mod compatible with Ostim Standalone? To me, that looks like such a headache to do, but I'm no mod creator... That would be so cool! I feel like this mod is so important! And if it ends up working with Ostim and OBody? Man... That would be so perfect
Allright, so I experimented with OStim Standalone and in my set-up it works pretty well with a sufficient amount of animations and with most of the races (I tested bretons, nord, dunmer, orcs, bosmer). Being a male altmer leads to problems though. They just have damn long legs. Besides that, I can confirm Bodyslide and Ostim SA work surprisingly well wiht RBM Redux.
I was wondering if it was possible to make an optional file that made nord women and orc women a bit beefier/muscular? It would be really awesome to make them look like Amazonians. Also, I noticed that with certain animations (leaning up against walls with arms crossed, etc.) makes the shoulders on orc women look a bit funny, as it creates an awkward gap between the arms and ribs. I'm thinking that maybe making orc women look beefier especially in the arms would help fix that issue.
Edit: I should clarify that the arm gaps are seen in the "Extreme" mod, and I have not tested it on the other two mods.
I forgot that I posted here, but I have somewhat of a solution. I still get skeleton issues with some animations, but I did figure out how to get different races to look how I wanted them to look.
I am currently using the mod "OBody Next Generation" to distribute body presets to people by gender and race. I do this by editing the the JSON file that it comes with, so that it doesn't distribute body presets completely at random. I am using the preset "Tomboy 2 Titan" from the mod "CBBE Muscle Solution" with tweaks to the low weight sliders to make even the skinniest female orc have some meat on their bones lol. However, I thought the presets were too extreme for how I wanted female nords to look, so I made my own preset.
The nord preset I made is inspired by some of the Amazonians seen in the 2017 Wonder Woman movie, and by some exercise enthusiasts online that primarily heavy lift from the waist down (they don't skip leg day lol). As Zangief says, "Who will crush men's skull like sparrows egg between thighs?" lol.
Anyway, I may try Racial Skin Variance in the future, but for now I'm liking the presets that I've added to everyone in general.
If anyone decides to use OBody with Racial Body Morphs, I must give you fair warning. The body presets might look a bit different on each race, so you might need to tweak the presets you want to use as you see them. I tried using the HIMBO COLOSSUS preset on male orcs, but the arms ended up looking more like weird chicken legs, if that makes sense. Relevant links for OBody use will be down below:

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I dont find any diference between normal version and EXTREME version (I've installed both in separate folders and create a 2 separate races to try the skeletons). Orcs are much bigger than vanilla now but there are no difference between the 2 versions of your mod.
After an exaustive comparation between the 2 bodies, I found a very little difference in arms sise. Extreme version has a lil bigger and longer arms. But is just that.

It impacted the characters, Me, follower, npc.
Just perfect ;)
It's weird to be in front of an elf worthy of a basketball team ^^
The Orcs finally find their monstrous body :)
Thank you for sharing.
What am I missing?
