I recently uploaded version 1.2.0 which fixes the keywords within the mod to no longer cause conflicts. I'm not exactly sure why these conflicts came up, it could have been an update to WAFR. Anyways, I recommend you to rebuild merges which contain this mod as well as smashed patches or similar. You can check within SSEEdit if the keywords have conflicts (which they shouldn't, they all should be in line with WAFR).
Do note that I don't play SSE myself right now, so this was done completely in CK and SSEdit. Shall any issues occur, please report so in the "Bugs" tab. This mod has been a straight port of the Classic version, so there are some legacy options that might not apply anymore. Those shouldn't cause any issues though.
The Original Description was ported from LE, and a lot of people are misunderstanding this. As such, at least for now, the bodyslide parts of the description have been deleted.
Netrve does not moderate this mod anymore as he's no longer playing skyrim at all. I'm the only one here. My life is uber hectic atm so it'll take a while to rectify the description. It's really not a top priority right now anyway.
TL;DR
The mod description is hella old, don't treat it as law.
hi, i'm using it with Wildlander modlist and it just doesn't work, i tried all the different install options, all the same, nothing can be crafted in the tanning rack
If you don't have the materials in your inventory, the crafting options politely hide themselves. I think it's a few tundra cotton for the white version of a scarf, and then various alchemical ingredients to make different colors.
if not planned, what about open source the mod for hdt support on a discord and just host the discord here or other alternatives to share the edit with credit listed to creator and support moderator?
I really dislike the way people are Pay Walling mods now days like the dude that does the raytracing shader he says he will release it but its constantly under development and never ready for use or the folks who paywall armor and weapons, whatever either way thanks for the mod.
Because I had to interrupt Netrv's very busy day so he could DM the user and threaten a nexus ban if they did not comply, after I sent one I KNEW they'd ignore. Within an hour they unlocked it.
I hate bothering Netrv but people just don't take me seriously just because I didn't upload the mod. Did over %50 of the xedit work and I have to bother Netrv, who isn't even active anymore to get the things I ask for the first time.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm incredibly bitter about it, and bless Netrv being %200 behind making sure I get my credit.
I can confirm what a few other posters have commented, that this great mod does not play well in leveled lists with cloak and cape mods. EVEN with a bashed patch for some reason. It took some trial and error to figure this out. I'm not an amateur modder so I know to do a bashed patch for leveled lists but it didn't seem to work. This may be because I made my bashed patch after marking this mod as an ESL but I haven't tested that. An easy solution is to simply select the crafting only version in the FOMOD installer. To answer a question I've seen. the mod works wonderfully, otherwise, marked as an ESL. Simply get SSEedit (It is lightweight and loads from within its folder), load the mod or your whole list, right-click on any plugin once loaded, select apply script, and choose "Find ESP Plugins that can be Turned into ESL", wait for it to finish. Both the initial plugin loading and the applying script can take a while. Once it has finished, scroll down the messages in the right pane until you find this mod. If you haven't sorted your load order it will be at the bottom. It will tell you that you can ESLify the mod by compacting form IDs and marking it as ESL. Right-click the mod's plugin in the left pane (again scroll down) and choose "compact form IDs for ESL", confirm the window that pops up. Now, still on the left, expand the drop-down on the mods plugin, select "file header", go to the right pane and on the bottom row of tabs select "View". Look up and right-click on the space to the right of "record flags" select "edit". Wait for the scary warning to allow you to pass, confirm. A window will open, select the ESL option, then OK. Now simply close the program. It will ask you to confirm saving the altered plugins. Do so. And you're done. It's marked as an ESL.
Thank you to Netrve and CyborgArmGun for this stylish mod!
A few years ago I was using this mod with Bandoliers and Bags and they played perfectly well together. After recently reinstalling Skyrim to try out some new content, I grabbed these 2 mods again, but now it seems that the scarves from this mod replace the shoulder bandoliers from the other mod. Supposedly this mod uses slot 45 according to the description page and Bandoliers and Bags uses slots 48, 55, 53, 57, 58, 52, 59.
Was a change made and these scarves no longer use slot 45? It's not a show-stopping incompatibility, but I do miss being able to wear the bandolier with these scarves.
I was wondering if you have considered using SPID for distribution? Would make it where you no longer needed to touch leveled lists for NPC's and would also make it easier for users to better customize the distribution to their personal liking.
Scarves work with survival keywords right out of the box so they have warmth ratings of 27 (although some may find the values too high for scarves since they're higher than vanilla civilian clothing, but it's still a lump of thick clothing around your neck, right? I don't mind personally), but mufflers don't because the keywords are set to ClothingNecklace for them. Simply open the plugin via xEdit and find muffler entries under Armor tab, change ClothingNecklace to ClothingBody [KYWD:000A8657]. You'll get warmth ratings for mufflers then.
Instead of doing these changes one at a time, you can do them all at once:
Highlight all of the records you want to change -> Right Click -> Compare Selected
Change record from ClothingNecklace to Clothing Body as instructed in first column -> Right Click -> Copy to Selected Records -> Hit OK
First record you touched is fine, the rest of them will have ClothingNecklace + ClothingBody -> Right Click ClothingNecklace from one of the other columns -> Remove From Selected -> Hit OK.

Get over yourselves. Want HDT? Mod it yourself.
Hope that's all it is, as that's easily remedied.

Nice mod! Endorsed!
Is this mod compatible with Wet & Cold + Winter is Coming?
I've got them all in my modlist!
My thanks!
Edit : Yes
