Just want to say the placement of the smelter is perfectly compatible with Relics of Hyrule mod. RoH places an object close by but both mods work normally.
Also informing that the .esp can be ESL-flagged without compacting first.
A brief heads up from an end user: Am early on during my playthrough, but wanted to create some space for additional esp files - and thus have ESL-ified a couple of my already present ones. Now I know that this is strongly discouraged during playthrough, but this has worked in the past for me most of the time.
Running the "Find ESP plugins which could be turned into ESL" script in SSEEdit, it returns "riverwood_addon.esp ... Can be turned into ESL by adding ESL flag in TES4 header." So theoretically it should be safe to turn it into an ESL. I know that the script explicitly states *could*, so it's not a given of course.
That said, this plugin here causes my saves to not load anymore once I have tagged it as ESL (to clarify: merely added the ESL attribute; it's still an esp file). Now that is in all likelihood an issue of the combination of 1. my load order and 2. my save games (the tested saves aren't even in Riverwood, but that doesn't seem to matter). So definitely not throwing this at the mod here - but merely stating it in case other users might run into the same issue (like ESL-ify say ten esp files in one go during your playthrough ... this mod here is one of the ten ... and then wonder why you ctd upon save load).
If anyone is wondering, the smelter that this mod adds to Riverwood is compatible with Ars Metallica. I was able to get EXP for Smithing by smelting ore. Needed this since I have a player home right in back of the smelter. Going to Whiterun every time I cleared a dungeon got tedious. Endorsement well deserved.
Hi! Are there any chances you will add more smelters in cities and towns? The only mod that does that in SE is buggy. I could help by providing a list of places.
Just Solitude, Riften and Falkreath need a smelter, the other cities and towns already have one or they don't have a blacksmith at all. Any chances to see it happens, please?
I thought the same thing. I figured this was one esp I could drop from my load order but it is really a pain not to have a smelter in Riverwood. I can do without most anywhere else, but not Riverwood.

Thanks again for your work - endorsed!
this is perfect, thanks (i actually installed Falkreath but that one bugged with the Jarl doord and npc in church, knida annoying)
I could help by providing a list of places.
Not by the same guy as this though... and no Falkreath yet (but it's redundant given Lakeview Manor)
A simple yet essential improvement to Riverwood without breaking the immersion.
Excellent!
Thanks!
P.S. Sorry my bad english.
Thanks very much
