Hi, I really liked your mod, so much so that I translated it into Russian. I would like to suggest that you make the beer mugs stick and not shake too, if possible, of course I understand that NPCs can pick them up, but maybe you can come up with something about it. Thank you for this mod!
Hi, I've been using Rudy's Miscellaneous retexture for silver plates and it seems that this mod causes plate twitching oddly enough. If I disable the mod it stops the plates from twitching but while the mod is enabled. It twitches. Just wanted to let you know that and I wanted to know if there is anything I could do to fix this problem. Additionally, I checked that rudy uses a custom path for the silver plates for the texture, not mesh. I'm assuming that is what is causing the problem but I have no idea how I would fix it besides deleting the record changing it in xedit. Thank you advance, love the work.
I never knew the plates in the game might twitch till the other day, so glad I found this mod.
But I also see the NPC in the game twitching and jerking around all the time, and it's really bad.
Has anyone ever seen the NPC in the game twitching and jerking around? I see them twitch up and down sometimes non stop as they are walking around. This is really killing the gaming immersion for me, seeing this.
This descripton mentions this is by disabling their havok, is there such a thing for the NPC too?
Here's a few videos I made, in the second one he jerks around slightly different.
I'm surprised more people haven't been complaining about this, and some sort of mod made already.
To me, this is like a major issue, it's crazy seeing them constantly shaking everywhere, and like no one sees this.
I seriously don't get how, such a huge thing like this has not be resolved, this seriously kills the game play quality.
Does anyone have any idea what causes it?
I use SSE Display Tweaks with a 165hz monitor. I originally thought this might be the issue, running faster frames and vsync issues, but changing to only 60fps didn't help.
AFAIK, it's caused by bad collision. If an NPC is standing on the edge of a collision and they slightly move, they will twitch like this. However, I've also heard reports this had something to with the navmesh. Most likely this needs a native engine-level fix.
I was wondering about the Navmesh and Collisions, because if you look at the Bug report I made 'Character Floats Above The Ground' at Blended Roads
T4gtr34um3r mentions people were getting motion sick horse riding, and requested a simpler collision.
So, in the video I posted Talsgar is twitching on the road, maybe because of this collision change, and maybe if someone changes this collision, it will at least hopefully fix the issue for Blended Roads?
You aren't going to fix this without some serious time, if it's even possible. It's a collision issue that is fundamental to the games physics as far as I can tell. Not everything can be fixed by mods.
I understand there are game engine physics and collision issues, among other game issues, that are not mod fixable. I was only asking what the possibilty was...
OH, I started a new game, I figured after years of modding and all the game saves with new mods installed and uninstalled, after finally getting a good setup in place, it was time to start the game new and create a Vanilla Game Save, and move foward from there, as to not have various mod issues getting in the way.
At the moment I'm not seeing all this NPC twitching around, so I can only assume, with all the modding I had going on, it might of been exasperating the situation. I'm also using the roads that come with Atlantean Landscape instead of Blended Roads, maybe too, the collision is better in Atlantean Landscape.
Hello, I contacting you for translate your mods in french. With the idea of being respectful of your work and your rights over it.
Despite this, sometimes certain creators have left the community due to changes in everyday life. In addition, sometimes, some creator creates her mod page fastly without paying attention to the copyright privilege section.
Hoping not to bother you if you see this message much later, and to compromise with these problems I usually post the mod after a month of no response, giving full access of course and no opt-in DP without responses.
With the idea of let you keep a total control over your creation without the constraint of time or presence, you can delete it or ask me to do changes for you or just leave it like that.
I hope you will understand this way of doing things, thank you for your work, have a good day !
Yes I copied your "ModifiedDisableHavokScript" into the VMAD of those notices in SSEDit. I even copied the script into Heljarchen Farm. But those objects are still moving, even while checking the "Don't havoc Settle "in"Record Flags".
"Grabbing Mod Exploit Fix" differs from "Player Grab Stealing". The latter has been made obselete by po3 tweaks.
"Grabbing Mode Exploit Fix" refers to this:
Following items will cause damage to NPCs when you drop them on an NPCs (un-Zkey): Buckets, baskets, cast iron pots, kettles, dwarven bowls. The damage will make the NPC enter combat and/or give you a bounty. This is done to fix the "bucket head" exploit.
Now also prevents clipping though walls using plates. When attempted, the player will ragdoll and drop the item.
In short: it's a fix for the "bucket head" stealing exploit, the "flying bucket" exploit and the "plate noclip" exploit.

And If I hit it, it will stop twitching.
upd. have this bug without any silver retextures.
But I also see the NPC in the game twitching and jerking around all the time, and it's really bad.

If your skill level should change, and this is something you can fix, it would be great!
THANKS
P.S. I just assumed twitching NPCs would be something you'd be interested in. :)

thank you very much.
I tried to use the same system for the Property selling notices in Heljarchen Farm mod, that always fall of fly away.
But it doesn't works and I don't know why.
is there a special condition more than adding the script?
It's why I asked if there is another condition.
You are super. Very nice ;)
"Grabbing Mode Exploit Fix" refers to this:
The patch forwards changes from both mods.
