For my current play through, I've cut back on city and town mods, but I missed having a smelter in Riverwood.  You're probably thinking, "but there are already Riverwood smelter mods!"  True, but I wanted something that was discrete and did not alter the landscape at all.  That's why I put this together.  A simple smelting pot, added to Alvor's crafting area.  Out of the way and not a big eyesore.  I figured I'd post it in case anyone else finds it useful.

There are 3 location options.  See the screenshots for details.  Location 3 is the most compatible with Alvor's crafting area and works with everything, including Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul.  If you don't use a mod that adds/moves markers in that area, all 3 will work for you and it'll be just a matter of preference.

My current load order (just under 1300 mods) includes the popular landscape and grass fixes and there are no conflicts.  As along as this loads above your water mod (which LOOT should do for you), there will be no issues in that respect.

The plugins are ESL flagged ESP, so it won't take a spot in your load order.  Form IDs did not require compacting.  It should be safe to install/remove on an existing save... well, as safe as that is in the first place.
