The description page compatibility section and the optional downloads have been updated to clarify compatibility.
EDIT: Thanks to CALEB2 now this mod also compatible with Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped... go check his mod page :) Installation: 1) Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped. 2) Main file here. 3) Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped NEW PATCH.
Perhaps this wouldn't be something you'd be interested in, but would you consider doing something similar for the glowy red bits on Mihail's Dwarven Colossus?
No problem ^-^ And about the Colossus… well, maybe… I have to examine that creature and its “fx” first… cuz I’m not sure if I can do the same in this case xD
Just a quick clarification. If I'm using the latest patch for CALEB2's Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped, do I need the optional patch file for your mod or is the main file enough?
If you want to use 'Particle Lights for ENB - Dwarven Spiders' with 'Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped', you only need the optional file from 'Particle Lights for ENB - Dwarven Spiders'. No main file needed.
@Indominus113 If you are using the latest version of Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped (v3) then install only one of the two optional files. As for the color; I uploaded RED and PURPLE versions because I don’t know which glow color they have now in that mod XD
that´s the thing, im not using Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped, but this mod instead: THIS im not sure if its compatible and if it his what option ( color ) should i use. Cheers!?
It is compatible, the main file and optional files. That mod only affects objects and static automatons. This mod is for creatures, and only dwemer spiders. The colour is your preferrence.
@Indominus113 Ohhh that! lmao… in that case you could just do whatever xD The main version has conflicting files but it’s fine if you replace them with this mod. Or you can install one optional file that matches the glow color in that mod. Your choice :P EDIT: pretty much what ArcanumWarlock said lolol
About Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped - well, it "kinda" works. Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped V3 uses 1 BSTriShape for Dwarven spider main body, instead of the 14 that vanilla has. And it also has NiSkinInstances instead of BSDismemberSkinInstances. (It's needed to be set up this way for the v3, or advanced behavior won't work, causes crash)
The result - whole body gets excessively illuminated, not just around the gem:
I tried to make a different type of glow effect that's contained around the gem, but the effect that's embedded into the dwarvenspidercenturionfx.nif uses the bottom part of the spider body as a bone to be attached to, causing the glow move in and out of the designated area when the spider moves.
@CALEB2 Oh hello! :o Yeah, that's unfortunate... I guess this mod kinda looks nice on vanilla meshes only :P My knowledge is very limited in regards to nif bones ;-;
As far as I know, that mod edits the dwarven spiders’ skeleton.nif only. So, this mod should be compatible. Although I’m gonna have to test it to see if the position of the light still looks fine…

Now Particle Lights for ENB - Dwarven Spiders is compatible with every version of Dwemer Automatons Glowmapped. Or the other way :-)

And yes it is compatible; but please check the “COMPATIBILITY” section on the description page for all the details!

Anyone knows how to attach it to another bone ?
