thanks for this great spear MOD. But i got a question that i used SSEEdit to make this spear fit one hand. Then i started game and equiped this spear, the moudle just disapeared. I want to solve it but how
About changing the hands, I don't really know how to do that with SSEEdit, I used the creation kit when I made the spear so maybe something is conflicting somehow. I don't have much time to look at it but if you have the creation kit installed, you can try with it instead
From what Ive gathered in my searches more than that has to be done to change a weapon to a one handed, including creation kit and or Niff scope. Its actually why Ive been going to cool spear mods and asking if the creator would consider making a one hand version. Its beyond my current skill set by a great deal.
I want a large looking spear for my VR playthrough but two handed weapons dont work with stuff I want to use like conduit, auto cloak, so far however True Spear one handed spears havent worked for me yet either
It was the dev team being lazy. After one of the old games, Morrowind, I think, they determined that spears were used the least of all weapons, so didn't include them in Oblivion, then carried that over to Skyrim, at least from what U've heard. I use an animation from LE that gives battleaxes a thrust animation, so enables me to reasonably use spears and polearms.

I've been using it for ages
Nop, only the meshes for the weapon, the animation is based on the 2 handed sword
It's possible to add in spear animation using Animated Armoury.
