Yup, it's time. I've finally had enough of this pain in the arse npc. Everywhere I go, everything I do, he's there. In the middle of a battle, relaxing by my campfire with my companions... he's there. I'm so tired of this npc, tired of disabling via console commands. The Gods have led me to this mod, and on this day, the courier goes to the Soul Cairn. after 20k combined hours, it's time.
I probably did something to the quests. Don't remember already :) I used the Creation Kit. If you want to disable something you first gotta figure out how that part of the game works and then you'll know what you can do with it.
it's weird, i remember looking for a mod like this a long time ago, but then i realized some notifications have to come through him.
i remember trying to convince the provincial curiour mod guy into turning him into a mail box instead of an NPC that could walk around and suggested maybe turning him into a manikin lol.
even though we get super annoyed by the guy, i just wish he was more useful and had more to him that wasn't annoying in any way, like giving you a letter without saying a thing and just giving it to you without announcing himself to you or interrupting combat or any situation for that matter.
i know other NPC's have that kind of dialogue where they say something at you but not to you and give you something without actually talking to you and annoying you.
I have played Skyrim for 10 years, and haven't in a loooong time been interested in doing any quests anymore. And now I don't have to have couriers pestering me. :- )
after 4,908 playthroughs, the quests start getting in the way. I always console up through the first 9 main quests (MQ102 - MQ106 and MQ201 - MQ204) That damn courier always runs up to me with like 50 letters. I keep reloading until i can target him and TAI rendering him a statue. now i don't need to worry about him

If you play with quests, use that mod (the one you mentioned), not mine.
