Awesome mod, just that the only piece not affected is the armor,it still has default green color, all other pieces looking great...any ideas...??? All help is welcome....
I have your moonstone texture replacer installed along with the volcanic standalone. The inventory model for the volcanic cuirass ends up looking odd because the retex overwrites most of the volcanic colors except for the glassy portions of the pauldrons. Below, I link to a screenshot of what that looks like from the inventory. Despite what you see going on with malachite glass on the female cuirass in the menu background, don't take it as a problem with how your mod looks on a character because the moonstone retex doesn't affect male or female models. I'm using JZbai's practical female armor mesh edit for standard glass and that doesn't 100% work with volcanic armor. Screenshot: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/Images/13175/
I would love to see a Thalmor themed variant someday. I'm playing as a Thalmor Agent. It's really fun and the game doesn't seem to have many "non" Nord style armor, and other mods don't really have end game armor. So you grow out of them fast.
Lovely! Any chance of a transparent version? Similar to this - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33602/? and this - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4028/?
I had no idea scoped bows existed. It appears the author gives permission with proper credit, so I will attempt a scoped bows version after the holidays.
EDIT: After doing some test objects- the transparency is very difficult to see and the refraction is ugly. I don't think it would compliment this mod or be worth the effort to pursue. Not looking down on your suggestion, just my astetic choice. Screenshot of an example I was working with: http://i.imgur.com/48shDRP.jpg After poking around in the RTGA mod and seeing how transparency is done, I will experiment with it. It might not be done until next month some time- I don't know how much overtime I will have to work after the holidays.
Transparency only really looks good on weapons. Refraction looks good on armor. The glass one I am referring too is that way. The armor reflects the light a bit. The weapons are beautiful being pretty transparent.
