    I assume this fix is not necessary if you turn off the head tracking function and only use the player voice?

      actually it is. I needed it and only used that mod for the player voice feature

    "If you are using the patch for PC Head Tracking and Voice Type from Mfg Fix, choose the appropriate patch in the FOMOD. This will completely replace the patch from Mfg Fix, and includes the changes in that patch."

    But it doesnt. There is still one script that is not overwritten by this patch. And its located in /source/scripts. While yours is located in /scripts/source.

      Source files aren't read by the game, they are just provided for convenience in case users need to make edits to the scripts.

    I just found this patch. I'm downloading it now and will be going over the scripts to see what it does.

    would this fix my game crashing when I open it with the PC headtracking and voice type mod?

    Hey, I read the FAQ that talked about similar crashes happening but without the Head Tracking mod, and I wanted to know, does your fix work in this case? or it just works for the head track mod itself?

    It's really crazy and sad that i couldn't find this mod on nexus and only knew about it from seeing it on a random google search

      Coincidentally, so am I. The error in the multiple crash logs is the same. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I simply searched and found this mod.

    Thank you so much, the random crash on save really bothered me for a year, finally someone figured out the cause and fixed it, and I was lucky enough to search for this mod.
