Altatorre, I am the co-author on TNG. I know what's up with the mod lol. The issue is that this mod was made to be compatible with SoS' seams and doesn't include penis normal maps. So technically you could run this with SoS' textures for perfect penis seams, but I don't think anyone is doing that. If nobody's complaining, though . . .
Male characters have underwear on in my game - I've installed according to directions and have proper load order. Read through comments and tried deleting meshes from skysight main mod, and adding the dll from LL for SOS. No difference. Sometimes the underwear is brown and sometimes it's gray, but it' s always there with schlong underneath it. Any solutions?
NVM - gave up and went to a different combo that worked. Cheers.
I have an invisible schlong... load order is Skysight -> SoS -> Patch. Char is naked but I can see right through him where there should be his schlong. Any ideas?
Hi Novelyst, it seems that the performance patch contains no hands textures. Therefore the Skysight hands are still overwitten by SOS while the rest of the body gets effectively convered by your mod. I have doubt for the feet though.
Or maybe it is because it is supposed to be used with the hairless version of SOS?
Hello! I tried to solve this issue on my own but I can't. Despite following your installation order, I still end up with a visible schlong with a loincloth over it and a weird texture stretching on the inner thigh. What could be causing this issue?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but the npcs hands are invisible (invisible bodies if you take their clothes off), even following the installation order correctly. Opening malehands_0.nif in NifSkope shows me distorted textures. I've reinstalled all the steps numerous times, how to identify the source of this error?
You're right. I found the problem: it was in 'CBBE Muscle Solution', which was conflicting with SOS and consequently messed up the meshes and textures. I solved the problem. Thanks for the quick response and for your beautiful work with this mod.
For future reference by other users, I had the same problem. In my case it was a conflict with a CBBE skin called ALT2. It was solved this way with SSEEdit:
1. when choosing which plugins to load, I selected ALT2.esp and Schlongs of Skyrim.esp (which automatically loaded their masters) 2. right-clicked in the left panel and clicked Other → Create Merged Patch (ignoring the warning popup) 3. right-clicked on ALT2.esp → Apply Filter to show Conflicts 4. after the filter loaded, one FormID in each of those two plugins was highlighted in red text on a red background, indicating a serious conflict: Armor → SkinNaked 5. clicking on SkinNaked, it could be seen that each plugin had "MODL" entries the other didn't under "Armature (aligned)" 6. right-clicked on the Merged Patch I created, which I named test.esp (doesn't matter what you name it), clicked Add Masters..., selected Schlongs of Skyrim - Core.esm, Schlongs of Skyrim.esp, and ALT2.esp 7. right-clicked on ALT2.esp's SkinNaked and used Copy as override into... to add that FormID to test.esp 8. went to the new Armor → SkinNaked inside test.esp, scrolled down to the "Armature (aligned)" section, right-clicked on the row where the conflict with SoS still showed in red, and clicked Add 9. in the new row's dropdown menu under the test.esp column, scrolled through to find SOS_DefaultUnderwearAA [ARMA:040012D7] and chose that 10. at this point, all rows under "Armature (aligned)" in test.esp were either green with grey text or yellow with green text, meaning the conflict had been resolved 11. saved test.esp and enabled it in mod manager
Hi, I am running Skyrim via Wine on an old Macbook (2011). To my surprise, I got a LOT of mods to work and for that rather smoothly so.
I am late to the game but the possibilities of personalizing the game and curiosity, if I could bring my hardware and WINE to do my bidding, keep me searching on from time to time.
Now, that most things work from that other website, I thought finding a nice simple skin for the schlongified dragonborn would be one on the last touches needed and less difficult to achieve.
BUT. After having never had that problem, two of the most used male Skins out there do not work with Wrye Bash (the only mod manager available under WIN) and everything else I find is High Performance oriented. Skysight seemed to be a good solution aesthetically and also because of its performance-version. Then, I somewhere I found a link to your patch for SOS.
Sadly, with the higher resolution, finally, my hardware bent the knee and frame rate dropped below a playable rates.
So now I wonder, is there any chance, you would do your magic once more and also create a similar patch for the Skysight Skins SSE PERFORMANCE files?
I did not expect you to be SO present around here. Nice! Looking forward to it, please take your time, it will not be about one or two days for me. Having been sifting through lots of reddit posts lately about this subject, and seeing how happy everyone is about Kartoffels textures for potato mush/soup, I'd bet you will be helping out a lot more people than just me. Thanks a lot. And it is the nicest skin around, after all.
I could not make it work until now, somehow I don't get the Ultra Quality textures out of the system properly. The Author of Skysight is reworking his installer anyway and I decided to wait for his update to avoid damaging my load-order permanently...
