Hey I was thinking about using Mortal Enemies. It seems like the only option with your game Smilodoned and Strike Obstructioned out and all. How does it work with AE?
I've been using it with the SE AE free update(not the paid AE with all the extra cc stuff). It works fine. Thought I haven't played the game with this patch yet. Didn't know this was a thing. Again so far it seems to be working. Iam going around rechecking mods since I messed up my load order and needed to do a fresh install of Skyrim. My mod list is very simple and under 30 mods. I only want to tweak the base vanilla not turn it into a dark souls next gen gf sim. lol. I'll edit with result if it does or doesnt work.
Edit: The mod is working fine. I have it and this patch on AE. Having a mod that reduces the reach of weapons works well. Something simple as this works for that > https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/3378?tab=description People do post that the range reduction can feel off and odd at times. But for me I have not a problem. I just don't like getting swarmed and being force stuck in a wall of living blades. With something like this you can at least move around during combat. Also makes bow kiting a thing in close range.
Edit2: A side note is that mortal main affect is that bows and most creatures dont get to auto hit or bum rush charge beat you down. They have to keep up to aim and have to get in close with the charge for the hit to land.
Oh sweet! Yeah I can't do lite load orders most of the time. I'm running 1100 mods this playthrough, 200 are manual installs, and only 618 are plugins. But all this has made me so paranoid about mods. lol. But no, this looks like it'll work fine with what I have, and now that I know it runs on AE, whoooo! Thank you. I'll friend you and we can compare lite load orders sometime. I use many PCs to test mods so I have many load orders. lol. I could help you if ever you have a question about any mod.
