Starting with Philmorex v3.0.0, you will need to add Intuitive Dragon Ride Control (SE) (v3.0.0 or higher) to your load order to enable Phil's ride controls.
Going forward, Phil will automatically benefit from any future updates delivered on the IDRC dragon riding. Just update to the latest IDRC version in your load order.
Hi, I have an issue with NPCs in cities getting scared whenever the dragon lands on a building somewhere, I suspect it's caused by "Run For Your Lives' mod. Anyone else had this issue?
Please make the dragon immortal. Especially sorcerers die quickly and constantly. I'm tired of turning the mod on and off and doing a quest to take it as a companion. The dragon is cool. The cry of the soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So if anyone is wondering. You can unpack this mod with BAE, then rename Parthunax model and replace Philmorex model with Parthunax! and finally have parthunax as your hommie thank you dev for this!
Hi! This mod is really good. Congratulations and thank you. It is going to my mod list no doubt. Are you thinking on evolving on this and doing a more fleshed out dragon follower? That you could choose the the shouts maybe or that would comment on quests and locations.
I actually have been focusing on Game Of Thrones Style dragon followers recently, see my latest mod GoT Dragon Companions, which I just released last week. My next plans are to continue evolving that mod. I may return to Phil eventually, but not in the forseeable future.
I understand that the GoT dragons are not really lore-friendly within Skyrim. And you are not able to talk to them. But they have other features which I really enjoy, and would like explore further, in particular a much more complex and realistic behavior (they go hunting, they rest during the nights, they interact with each other etc).
Hi! I saw them! I follow the project and was quite happy when I saw that this kind of progress was being made. Congratulations once again!
I actually think that the updated behavior on the GOT Dragon Companions is a big plus and helps respond to a problem that a dragon companions brings which is that you have basically a cheat code for every fight and need to be carefull on how you use it. If the dragon is away hunting or sleeping and take his time to arrive, than i will be better off just finishing the fight by myself. The reason that made me choose philmorex was the commands in valyrian but i'll check them also. Thanks for your quick response!
Hello! I know This is a big ask, but would you be willing to upload a version without the flight control feature and possibly give permission to port it to Xbox? ☺️
Hi! Flight control is already split out of the Philmorex mod with v3.0.0. That means there's no flight control code within this mod, you will need IDRC as a separate mod installed to enable flight control.
However, you still may get into the SKSE limitation for Xbox. Anyways, if you want to give it a try, please go ahead, as long as you reference accordingly (and let me know about it, so I can reference this from here).
Wish i could add this to my playthrough again but i play with project skyrim and can't finish dragon rising despite being dragonborn. Can i play with an earlier version of this back when we didn't need to finish it?? I want to use this mod so bad but dont want to have to find a new mod pack or somthing...:( would it be possible to add another version tha doesn't require the quest?
No matter what I do I can't get the GoT textures to apply to Phil. Been at it for hours now and no cigar. The meshes works fine. Just the textures that doesn't seem to know where to look for them, which should be accessible. I assume the .nif file is suppose to point to the locations of the meshes and textures? I am using MO2 btw.
I digress. Figured it out. Refer to Caistorshold Isle page, you need to go to your skyrim textures and create a folder with the same name as the mesh actor (_ts_PR_Philmorex), then drop the texture files in there.
Upon recruiting him, I don't get the spell to make him come over. Tried to add it via console, but I get an error. Possible that I got the ID wrong too.
