I have recently swapped to Azurite Weathers and also started using Vanilla HDR, so 3.0 is specifically adjusted for those. I kept Obsidian Weathers installed since apparently you can do that, quote from author's mod page :
So i just deleted the region records from Obsidian plugin and disabled any patches for it, as usually those patches were only for forwarding those region records and obviously you have load it before Azurite. This way only Azurite weathers will be present in your game, but you can still use in game power from Obsidian for color preset, season colors and adjust sunlight strength.
V3 is meant to be used with :
Preset : Fantasy Seasons FX : ON Weaker Sunlight : 33%
I have also added a DOF shader that Im using in my screenshot and during gameplay as well. It is binded to F1 button. The reason it's binded it's because it can blur dialogue options and subtitles if you have it enabled during conversations. Just disable it for dialogue and enable after. You can use it with Target Focus to still have a focus on characters during dialogues.
It's still work in progress as I didn't have time to check every possible location and scenario yet. There might be some places where lighting is jarring or maybe it's too dark etc. I'll probably make adjustment over time as I keep playing and finding potential issues.
4.0 UPDATE
No new requirements or anything really. I'm still using Azurite Weathers alongside Obsidian Weathers plugin(Region records deleted). Screenshots were taken with Obsidian game power :
Preset : Fantasy Seasons FX : OFF Weaker Sunlight : OFF
The only thing to be aware is that I am not sure if new DOF shaders will be automatically downloaded. I remember downloading them manually for some reason. I also updated the screenshot in the description with all shaders so if the last 2 shaders are missing for you, get them here https://github.com/Heathen/Pirate-Shaders/releases. After putting them in reshade-shaders folder, you have to edit :Pirate_Depth.cfg and edit 1st line : #define DEPTH_USE_RESHADE_SETTINGS0//[0 or 1] 0 - Uses my preprocess live settings for depth. 1 - Uses reshade linearization to #define DEPTH_USE_RESHADE_SETTINGS1//[0 or 1] 0 - Uses my preprocess live settings for depth. 1 - Uses reshade linearization Just swap "0" to "1". Otherwise DOF won't work. Make sure you have SSE ReShade Helper installed so that it won't blur UI.
So,I just created a detailed tutorial video on how to install a Reshade. I`ve done this, since many of my downloaders dont know how to do so. I experienced that media is easier to consume than reading an instruction,so I thought I might share this video on different Reshades. Maybe the Mod creator wants to pin it or add it to video section, for easier access :) If you dont like the video, feel free to delete this post :)
hello, I don't know why but I can't install "Glamarye_Fast_Effects"I place the folder in Skyrim main folder\reshade-shaders\Shaders.and I get error occurred while loading certain effects.skyrim special edition/resharde-shaders/Shaders/Bx-Shade/BX_XIV_ChromakeyPlus.fx(14, 5): preprocessor error: XIV_chromakeyPlus can only work with Rest Addon in F....
It's an issue with latest (6.0) version of Reshade. Author of the shader will have to update it, but we don't know when will that happen. You can download 5.9.2 of Reshade from here in the meanwhile https://reshade.en.uptodown.com/windows/versions.
I downloaded the dof shaders from the link provided but the line you specified couldn't be found in the config file. I had to manually add it. Will this cause any problems? Thanks for the update!
Hi, I don't use ENB or Reshade, they have an impact on FPS when the game is very modded (minimum 5-10 FPS). My GPU is the equivalent of a Geforce MX230
Well, your GPU might be already near 100% utilization because of your heavily modded game. I have gtx 1060 which is also low end and this preset adds around 20-30% utilization. With Reshade toggled off, Im usually around 30-50% depending on the location, so around 80% max with my reshade preset enabled. This means my GPU still have some power left available. Once you go over 99% you will start losing frames. From what I read about this GPU, it seems to be a laptop specific GPU which probably means it have a limited TDP which doesn't help either.
Thank you for your clarification, yes you are probably right and that's why I don't use Reshade or Enb, I'm currently at 81 active plugins and 57 lights and it's starting to get a bit complicated. My average FPS is around 45-50 in 1280*720 in medium settings, so I have to carefully select the mods I decide to install.
hello, thank you for this great mod, I love the colors so much, the pleasant colored rendering.its my first time using this mod and i am having a graphical issue.
certain part of the scenery and my character becomes blurred. a textureless mass
That's a depth of field shader called "ADOF" that's binded to F1 button by default. Disable it and unbind it. I should probably mention it in the description that this DOF shader is calibrated and meant to be used for 3rd person camera, not 1st person.
Not bad. Definitely adds more atmosphere to the visuals and makes the colours look more vibrant but I had to disable the sharpening effect as it was just way too much for me.
Tried it out, but the fire is so red/orange it looks really unnatural and really took away from the scenes. Using DaVinci reshade now and it's like a happy between. Could be a very good reshade if the fire could be tweaked a bit, but that's my opinion. Thanks for the mod/walk through it got me using reshade for the first time. Love it.
To anyone else who may have the same feeling in their game. Red/orange colors can be reduced by lowering the saturation effect in Glamarye_Fast_Effects shader and/or by lowering AmountChroma in LUT shader.
