UPDATE NOTES: 1.0.3 - Removed Leather crafting from the main file. - Added new leather crafting (Mycelium Leather) as it's own esp (ESL Tagged) (Based somewhat off of real world Mycelium Leather, rl sawdust is feed to specific types of mushrooms and they are grown into shape over the course of a couple of months, then processed further into a material that looks, smells and feels like leather and can be used just like traditional leather, though in skyrim used linen and an oven instead, but hey it's skyrim realism isn't exactly king here). #TheMoreYouKnow
1.0.2 Updated More Hearthfire Recipes - CCO Addon to 1.0.1, Apparently forgot to set CCOR to a esm so that it took as a dependency, as a result it didn't take and the output furplate output for the recipe was blanked. Should be fixed now.
This mod allowing me to exchange an exorbitant amount of firewood for sawn logs finally lets me live completely off grid in the Chanterelle world space
You are a blessing, and I hope you have an amazing week
Yes, leather is suppose to be animal skin, it's just a pacifist way of making it. I did take some extreme liberties with it, With the rough of idea that your combining and cooking linen and cotton into a leather like material, not necessarily realistic but to be fair there is a lot of things with skyrim that isn't realistic. Ideally though, it should be a transmutation thing with alteration magic but that's just work I don't want to do, nor do I really know how to do it. If the recipe bothers someone that much they can just ignore it and not use it.
Updated main file, it's no longer in the main file but now a optional plugin (ESL tagged) and with a recipe change, went the Mycelium leather route, a real thing, though irl they feed it saw dust and grow it into shape then process it accordingly, where is I used linen wraps, but hey this is Skyrim, Realism isn't exactly a focus.
