Detailed NPCs is my suite of mods that equips various items to NPCs relevant to their roles (e.g., guards, mercenaries, farmers, etc.). As a result, Detailed NPCs enhances storytelling through small visual cues that provide insights (even clues!) to all the wonderful (and not so wonderful!) NPCs in game. Many of my mods can be used together to create layers of meaning.
1. A high quality texture replacer for skeletons will make this mod pop. Something like Bloody Skeleton or Remiros' Skeletons HD will do the trick. 2. Suggest you edit the _DISTR.ini to limit NPCs by level (e.g., limit to level 15 NPCs) and by %-chance of receiving a mask (e.g., 25%). I would have made these edits, but then people would tell me that the mod doesn't work, etc.
I've run into a bit of weirdness with this mod. When I trigger the one handed sword's decapitation perk on an NPC wearing one of the mod's skull masks, the head goes flying, but the mask doesn't move relative to the body, hovering in place. Is there a way to make it so the mask stays attached to the head, or falls off like how corpses drop their weapons?

Does anyone know if there are upscaled textures for these masks? In my game they look very low res, or is it just me?
