The souls trapped in the "Soul Cairn" were wearing this garment, perhaps because of IW-Patch or LL. However, when the soul effect was applied with the red garment, the coloring was mismatched.
If it is possible to adjust it, I would be glad if you could adjust it so that souls can be excluded.
I'm not sure I'd call it a "bug", so I'll post it in the forum. If they use SPID, I would be happy too.
Hi Zolgear, thank you for reporting this issue. In an unmodded game (and indeed, in my personal 1900+ mod setup), there aren't any actors in Dawnguard who use either the ClothesTavernWenchOutfit or dunLiarsRetreatWenchClothes outfit explicitly in Dawnguard.esm. I double checked the UESP and it only lists bandits and conjurers as appearing there.
In the interests of thoroughness, I also checked the SoulCairnSoulFaction faction for any members that might use the wench outfits. I discovered there that Immersive Wenches adds five actor to the Soul Cairn who use the ClothesTavernWenchOutfit for their default outfit.
To avoid the red garment, you (or I) would need to create an alternate outfit file that omits that version. Now that I'm aware of the problem, I will work on fixing this, but I have to warn you that I haven't had a lot of hobby time free for Skyrim lately, so you may have to wait a little while. Still, thank you again for alerting me to this - I'll work on getting it fixed.
Hey,, just saw this, idk if it's intentional but it doesn't look like it 'WenchWW.osp' in the file preview. Assuming it should be an esp, and maybe it is but the preview is wrong?
Hi Patrick, thanks for checking in about this. An OSP file is a bodyslide project file - you use it to create the BHUNP meshes to match your slider presets. You can find the bodyslide tool here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/201
If you scroll to the bottom of the file preview, you will be able to see the ESP files.
I don't have a CBBE development environment set up, but it would be pretty easy to make a DIY conversion - and if you created one I imagine the underlying mod author would be happy to grant you permission to share it.
Basically, all you need to do is take your CBBE Wench Outfit project and add a duplicate of the main clothing layer called "MetalTrim" that maps to the following textures:
Main texture: textures\1kryliss\clothing\wench dress - new\0 metal trim\trim-gold.dds Normals: textures\1kryliss\clothing\wench dress - new\wench dress_n.dds Environment: textures\cubemaps\ore_gold_e.dds
You could even do it without this and just straight-up use your CBBE Wench mesh, it would just be missing the shininess on the metal parts.
That's a good idea. No promises, but if time permits I'll look into it. I have an update planned for this mod in the future that would benefit from something like that.
