Hey everyone! I'm not dead and neither is the mod!
I apologize to all of my users, life has been pretty crazy lately, so I haven't had much free time to sit down and dedicate some hard work toward the mod. Last I left off, I was working on the radiant questing system. Specifically, I'm trying to get thalmor patrols working at various sizes - small scouting parties all the way up to a cohort of troops marching in formation. I'm referencing code from Skyrim At War and Conquest of Skyrim, seeing as troop formations are those mods' bread and butter. The plan is to get at least the first tier of radiant quests implemented for the next release. I may go ahead and get the whole system working and enable it so you guys can play test it, but the final plan is that there will be tiers to the radiant quests that you are able to receive based on your progress in the Blades Overhaul Main Quest.
I see we're still having loads of issues with the big follower mods. Since I'm mid development on the new feature, I have no easy way of investigating those issues until the new feature is finished and released. At least that I know of. If you're an experienced modder and know how to setup a good version control system for a mod, the Creation kit, and game then please let me know as that will greatly speed up development. I know a lot of mods have github pages, but is there any easy way to setup different branches of your game that you can load into the Creation Kit?
Regardless, I will not abandon this mod, unless I die or the nexus goes away. So please bear with me as I go through a transitionary stage in my life. I should have some more free time here soon. Maybe a goal I'll set is to get the next release out before end of summer, if things in my personal life calm down a bit.

I cant recruit Blades. No dialogue option. I tried different solutions to the problem I've found on this site but no luck yet. Maybe I did sth wrong? Maybe someone could help me with that? Explain to me even more precisely
If so, the solution is to go into the MCM menu and assign the companion you wish to be recruited into the "gameslot." It can be found as the last option in the MCM menu for NFF - "Slot's and History." Then there is a dropdown menu on the right under "Sorting" you need to select the follower you wish to be recruited and then click "Send to game slot." Once you have done that you exit the menu and wait for a notification that says "Game slot is now occupied," then you should have a dialogue option with Delphine to recruit your follower.
Hello Garuda, I wanted to let you know that the dialogue to recruit npcs to the blades never showed up for me so I had to recruit them manually through console commands which worked just fine. However I am unsure how to start the quests to send anyone on a dragon hunt / any other features in this mod. I can see the quests are there in the console. How is this actually supposed to work? I was able to assign a blade to spy through dialogue with that npc so that’s good. I did talk to esburn about dragon hunting and started a dragon hunt quest to which he asked if I wanted to send the blades to help. The only option through dialogue that I got was basically yes or no. No option to choose who to send specifically. No option for anything other than vanilla blades stuff from what I’m seeing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I ran this with AFT patch before I recruited anyone only can recruit 3 followers like Vanilla, no other dialogue appears to get more both before and after I talked to Esbern
I spent last few hours trying to get mod to work but seemingly - at this moment it does nothing. I use Nolvus (comes with NFF), so I'm quite mod heavy but either rotating load order, installing patches, flushing NFF slots etc. has no results. Neither I can send followers to missions nor I can recruit more than 3.
Installed it before I did recruit first blade, thinking of it it's a shame i kept playing for a bit since then coz quest is finished now...
Interestingly i've just finished the MSQ and now i do have the option to recruit additional blades. No send on a mission option but still - just started working, suddenly. Thought that might help in the development.
Is there any sort of command you can use to manually add this dialogue to delphine or trigger check for dialogue? As I'm running FreeFormSkyHavenTempleABladesOverhaul setstage command, it seemingly cycles between but i never got to see the dialogue on her post 3 blades recruited.
I was searching for the old mod that allow me to bring my blade minion to kill whatever dragon since I always made my dragon OP in my all my play-through. Sadly its gone. I'm glad another one emerge in its absence. Cant wait for the update.

edit: nvm got it. you have to recruit 5 blades first, I'd only had 4.

Glad it's just for the optional feature.
