It also conflicts with Prettier Roads https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/61533 Prettier Roads places something exactly where your mod is. A pity because I personally prefer your mod over there, makes more sense
Hmmm.. I'll look into it and see what I can do. I have never done a compatibility patch before so this is something new for me! Also, I need to see what exactly is placed there. :)
So I think I made a compatibility patch for Prettier Roads (under misc files). Seem to work for me, please check if it works for you too. I think the wagon added by Prettier Roads is really neat, there is no reason to miss out on the good stuff! (I'm only mad I didn't come up with that idea haha). :)
I'll test it this weekend, but please, I hope you didn't feel forced to make a patch, I was not demanding one, just informing about a minor incompatibility. I loaded both in my game and it wasn't THAT bad, but it caused routing issues for the guards, one of them kept getting stuck. In fact both mods, visually, got along really well! Thank you for your attention to detail, I really enjoy little mods like this
Well, I made it for you, since you pointed it out. And I made if for me, because I got the chance to learn something new. The structure the other mod made looks cool in itself, but next to the guard tower it kind of looks odd. And the one guard moving around on the "hill" get stuck in there (his spawn point is located just among the barrels). And obviously 5 other people think the patch was good since that's the amount of downloads it got at this point! :)
Thanks! I've found that I really like making this kind of content, just need to more time so I can make more! :D I'm currently working on something new for the area between Honningbrew Meadery and the stables, so keep an eye open! :)
Hello May I ask if the added soldiers come with their own package ? Meaning do they stand there all day and night, are they patroling the bridge, do they sometimes go back to barracks for a nap, etc.. Thank you
Hello! Please let me know, I never liked Skyrim bridges myself and I had actually forgotten about it when I made it. But if it works, or not, it's always good to know. I hope you like it anyway! :)
hi there, just tested. yes it does conflict. not the worst amount of clipping, but still pretty noticeable. it also clips with the road sign, which i think has been moved by either Skyrim Bridges or Point the Way. or its your mod that moves the road sign.. i just know i currently have two of them haha i'll upload a few pictures to your page so you can see, feel free to remove them anytime
Gulp! Not so bad clipping? Hahah.. That was terrible! :D My mod moves the road sign "across the street" to the corner to the west. One of the other mods obviously moves it just a tad bit from the original location. But... This gives me an idea, need a week or two to think about it though. Since the bridges are quite sturdy to say the least, I guess I could make something more fortified that plays along with the bridges.. Maybe.. We'll see. :) I'll update description page though with not compatible mods. Haha. Thanks for checking it out though! :)
thank you sir! :) i don't expect a compatibility patch, but it would be awesome ngl just happy to provide some help so you aren't overrun by "tHiS mOd iSn'T cOmPaTiBlE wItH (insert mod)" haha :D
Hm.. You mean like holds border or Skyrim borders? Or both? Back in 2020 (when I originally started this mod) I had an idea to add some more guard posts and such around the major cities, after all it's supposed to be a civil war but the only signs of that is military camps scattered around Skyrim in remote areas. I thought it would only be logical for the larger cities to at least have some fortifications or similar around and about. Whiterun is the only city that has this with Whitewatch Tower and the Western Watchtower. Solitude has nothing (started to work on something outside Dragon Bridge but it turned out as crap). Windhelm has nothing but I found an awesome "windhelm bridge" overhaul that makes Windhelm fortified enough for my taste. :)

For anyone running Arthmoor's Beehives - Be sure to load the hives mod after this one to avoid a messed up fence at the Honningbrew Meadery

But basically, they will just patrol around the perimeter.
If you need examples, maybe such a small but fully working mod may help:
Unused Whiterun Guards
I hope you like it anyway! :)
