WHAT'S THIS MOD ABOUT?

When you pick up random loot on the floor in a civilized area, such as food on tables that aren't marked as stealing, have you ever gotten someone from another floor running up to you just to say "That was just lying around? Good find"?

Have you gotten this to occur in the middle of a break-in, where you grabbed a sweet roll that wasn't marked as stealing because you happen to have high disposition with the owner, therefore triggering this nagging even when they're asleep?

Do they still commit to this nagging despite you being invisible, like they've suddenly achieved the same cosmic power as the Courier?

I've encoutered this multiple times, and I HATE it.

For many, this may not be too noticeable, but it is for me and possibly other users who also have Here We Go Again. Tarlazo's mod allows these quests to be more reliably repeatable, which includes the quest that triggers this annoying behavior. Therefore, I made this mod to add and change certain conditions, hopefully making this trigger much less and if it does, it triggers in a more immersive way.

FEATURES
  • Detection distance decreased from 1500 to 250, which is only a bit further than regular speaking distance. This makes it look like the NPC only notices you grabbing the item because they were paying attention to you in the first place.
  • Can't trigger if they are sleeping. No more 6th sense!
  • Can't trigger if you grabbed the items while sneaking, regardless of distance or if NPCs are awake.

INSTALLATION
  • Install this mod with your preferred mod manager

COMPATBILITY
  • Not compatible with any mods that changes  WIAddItem01 """Did you find something good?""" [QUST:0002C437]
